Yahoo condones anti-social behaviour and irresponsible driving. Apparently.
I just watched it. This really has me in the mood to drive fast!
Quote :the advert depicted two women in a convertible car against a blurred background, appearing under the tag-line "faster is funner"

Faster is more fun, goddamnit.
yawn, who cares, yahoo's been going down the tubes for years... they even got so desperate, they offered me a job in california about a year ago.

oh this is just another case of namby pamby agencies saying everything is banned.
I just can't get over that anyone, even the ASA, would even make that connection in the first place. It's like they're bored with nothing better to do. It makes me want to throttle them.
I suspect it is the "faster is funner [sic]" line and the vehicle that the ASA are against, though I've not actually seen the ad, I couldn't really comment.

Love the way the ASA consider "faster is funner" to condone unsafe driving. Faster is funner - true. Whether it is unsafe is an entirely different issue dependent on the individual driver and road conditions.

Since when did an ad watchdog become experts on road safety?
