Yeah I know, you said that before.. Why don't you just teach your mum to drive a manual transmission car? Here in holland everybody learns to drive a manual first.

E: Drivingschool cars are manual cars.

Quote from e2mustang : its a bmw, must have angel eyes

It must have BMW 5-series daylight running-lights, no crap aftermarket Angel-Eye bling bling no good Either 5er or nothing! ^^
Quote from dadge :it only confirms that you can't polish a turd. seriously Jakq, by the time you're done with that car, the MG is going to stand for "My God". you should also try to get a "SUBO" badge for the back. because let's be honest. it's the kind of car Susan Boyle would drive.
snap out of it man.

Dont bother....

let him do as he likes, if he makes mistakes he'll learn, if it out lasts cockroaches we'll all be gob-smacked....

tbh... it could be alot worse.

no, it can't. why do you think it's difficult to find a nice body kit for a 75? lol
i just think it's a waste. imagine how mint he could have a golf or a C4 or a focus or a civic or an (new) astra or a fiesta or a impreza or an evo. the list goes on but does not include a 75.

wrong. u dont need daytime running light when u have angel eye, looks like shit.angel eye or nothing
and its no crap aftermarket.its umnitza. 180 $
Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Not my cup of tea. I like cars with subtle spoilers, but I don't think the ZT has ever suited that MG spoiler. My Mother had a Trophy Blue ZT 190 a few years ago, and it had the MG lip spoiler. It looked much much nicer imo.

The one on the numberplate holder is the one I'm talking about.

Each to there own though!

Looks basically the same.
Lip spoiler:

Boomerang + lip spoiler:

Boomerang:

I have the lip, but i'm swapping to the boomerang.
Quote from Jakg :

Yeah, i can see you reasoning. The Lip alone clearly doesn't provide enough Downforce. The Rear Wheels are almost of the Ground!
It is FWD, who needs the rears pushing into the ground? You need lift over the back, then it'll be more tail happy.
Trunk lip is nice, boomerang looks out of place while looking at rest of the car.
Rover 75 V8 is the only one I'd entertain

Mind me adding this comes from some bloke who thinks driving an 1.8 naturally aspirated Diesel with flat springs in the back could be anything close to "fun".

Also comes from a guy who was taking the piss.

When you can out drive a tart in his knobed up Corsa, it is a lot of fun hooning a van. Try it one day, you'll realise why I enjoy beating on a van.

I've driven fast cars (on and off the track) and they have a completely different kind of pleasure.

I had the most ponderable pleasure of having a ride in an Escort van, just like yours but in a very lovely red gloss paint. That engine truely is a masterpiece!

You may have fun whilst driving but the driving itself being fun is actually something very different to me.

to quote a song "it aint what you do, it's the way that you do it. that's what gets results."

Eh? Are you looking at the correct picture?

@ Jakg, I wasn't aware you already had the lip spoiler. I would of kept the lip spoiler personally as I think the spoiler you bought totally ruins the lines of the car. If you like it, that's all that matters.

didn't take you for a bananarama fan dadge
Is this car related to that Rover/MG?

That is one sexy looking MG.
