Sucks that GT5 has a 20 million Cr. Cap. I have 20 mil and am grinding away at work, and gaining no progress. I need to get home so I can get more credits.
I tested one of my old online replays, and yes you can switch between cars instantly now, and change views, from any car! But no cockpit view for the other cars
Custom tracks for online is good, with time of day change and weather to boot. But the Efiel theme keeps spitting out blind downhill corners, not so good
It's like a Laguna Seca corkscrew and Bathurst downhill section on every track
The banking setting addtion is nice, makes the tracks more organic now
If only we had control of the topography, generate our own custom ones, then it would be way better
・Multi Monitor
From [Options] - [Hardware] - [Multi Monitor], you can now set multi-monitor display settings using multiple PS3™ systems.
You can now enjoy Gran Turismo 5 in an incredibly wide display environment combining multiple PS3™ systems and TV's/monitors.

Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! Since I got badly bitten by the GT5 Nordschleife bug I've been saying the only thing I miss from my PC simming is three screens.
Argghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... I can feel the urge to find a couple of cheap reconditioned PS3s beginning to itch at the back of my brain.
Mmm... of course you'd probably need 3 copies of GT5 too.
One of the cool things Sony was showcasing was an awesome Gran Turismo 5 racing simulator setup with no less than five Bravia HDTVs, racing chair and Logitech gaming hardware. The setup was made that little bit sweeter with a Taiwanese booth babe girl that even knew how to drive.

You'll love this then:
・Remote Racing from a Web Browser
For [Remote Races], you can visit the official "gran-turismo.com" website using an internet web browser, and remotely operate your PS3® at home. You can start races, monitor its progress and check the results from the web site. This is a new playing style allowing you to play Gran Turismo anywhere!
Sign in from the [GT5 My Home] button on the upper right of the webpage to get started.
Except Dygear I'm grinding my A-Spec driver using the rubber band trick. I've gained 2 levels from 33 to 35 just being at work today (the XP upgrades in all teh races really helped.. instead of 9000 a race, 32000 ).
Then once I get home, spend the credits on random cars, then setup trick again. This time next week I'll be level 40, then have only a few trophies to try to kill.
You can make some decent cash and exp from remote racing. just go to the driver profile, click the driver and click "collect rewards" or something like that.
My name is Gabkicks on PSN if anyone wants to race my AI. i've got around 15 people from this forum on my friends list, and none of them have ai set to share >_<
I'm pretty sure my PSN account was banned because I am using the jailbroken firmware. So, I don't think I'll be gaming on my PS3 any more, just using it to install Linux and making it into a web server or something . It was fun, but I'm pretty tired of Sony's bullshit.
That's either super-impressive or really depressing. I'm not sure which yet. :-)
At least now I know what my first purchase will be the day I win the lottery. I did have a trip to Berlusconi's escort service pencilled in for that occasion, but not any more.
