Anyway, bought an Enzo after that, heard some nice things about it, but god i find it awfull, feedback is numb, understeers like a bi*ch.. pretty dissapointed tbh, but i do not regret it, one of my 'goals' is to get all the Premiums anyway..

Give it a click more ARB in the back, add negative camber, maybe some more/less toe in the back (depends on the car) and voila understeer gone, default sets for some cars are horrible, noticed that too with my Corvette and F40.

edit: CoolCol was faster
Ok, will try that people.. thanks. Kinda hoped i won't need to adjust anything on any car.. look what difference the downforce can do so it comes down to the same thing as in LFS. You never know what the other person did to the car when you see his lap time...
I usually start at -0.05 front and +0.05 back for all cars as a default and go from there. If you want to drift then -0.20 at the back to start
Camber, 1.5/1.3

We need saveable setups soon....

Yeah the stock setup for all cars have no camber at all!
FGT at Monza, wets or intermediates?
Has anyone got something i can borrow for the DTM champs please! PSN: Pearcy_1991

Just use the Lexus IS-F concept in the Lexus dealership, I haven't bothered with that
Why does the Nascar have soo much downforce?

It just takes 2 eyes to see it clearly doesn't have much downforce IRL.
For the nascar challenge it may actually be easier to make the gears taller. That way you will get less wheelspin. Plus if you go gently on the throttle it will never get sideways. Especially on first gear. I used gear setup I used for daytona but made it even few steps longer. Nordy has few loong straights

I think next I'm going to try the zr1 and viper acr track records in the nordy. Already did the gtr one. Too bad there aren't special prizes for those other two.. Also got the penniless award yesterday
Made a little list of real life nordschleife lap times with cars that are in gt5 (year and specific model the same). Basically the idea is to buy the car, do nothing to it (not even oil change) and take it to the ring. EDIT: using comfort soft tires.

The first list is the lap times from here (link). The 2nd list is the specific car from gt5 which matches at least the year and model. Link.

I haven't yet checked that all times are done in the same track weather conditions etc...There were about 10 cars which had different year. I only included cars that had the exact same year.

All premium cars (P=premium, S=standard) are available from the dealerships in gt5.

7:22.10 Dodge Viper ACR (2009)

I'm planning to do all these. So far I've done the new zr1, acr viper and the nissan gtr ones. The goal is to go under each time
In other news, the IS-F thing is a ****ing pig to drive... Minolta on a wet 24hr ring was fun, best lap was a 8:01
My GTR time on the ring is 7:23 something, with two minor offs.

NSX R 02' 7:50.5, a pretty on the limit lap I think.

Yellow bird 7:48.2 - note stock tire is sports medium.

Zonda R with racing hard - 6:27.6

gonna try the enzo later.

I guess they did it to make the cars more driveable

The ones in GT5 feel a lot easier to drive than the one I tried in the older public demos! Those ones would spin on a whiff of throttle, and they felt really heavy and hard to turn....
I did the IS-F in 8:09 (Completely stock all aids off but ABS on 1) which is 9 seconds faster then the real life time but i will admit there is a few seconds more i could of got out of that.
try turning ABS off and lowering the brake bias to 2F/2R
Changing the Bias would be a little unfair would it not?
makes it easier (on a g25/27) to keep the brakes from locking without the ABS being on 1
9:12 with a 207 GTi (w/ oil change no aids 2/4 brake bias)
plenty of mistakes but i cbf doing another lap it takes too long lol.

im using a controller lol.
okay i have found the most enjoyable car to do the track in.

The C63 AMG, quite a difficult drive keeping it on the track expecially without TC but rewarding.

managed a 8:13

Edit: did it agian 8:03

btw anyone needs a nascar? I've got two right now. ^^

4f/2r is more logical for sports cars.
Enzo laptime - 7:21.3

the thing has too much front end lift, lost a huge amount of time in the high speed section and generally very hard to put load on the front without some straightline braking, with some more front end aero it can easily shave 4 or 5 seconds off.

and 02 NSX on stock comfort soft - 8:27

Gift me one if you have some spare...I don't have one and I need one for one of the stupid challenges.
I want to make babies with my NSX-R :lovies3d:

I'm definately loosing some quality, don't know if it's because im looking at it on a HD telly or because im uploading to picasa... Some other pictures i see look alot clearer than mine do.
