Hi
Im have some problems with my set. Maybe you can help me...
The problem is that suspension breaks when riding the kerbs in chincanes.
Next weekend i will have a race, and dont know what to do.

Combo is fe black + fv08
Thks in advance
Soften the suspension and/or go slower.
Or increase ride height. Or just don't ride the chicanes.

yeah lol
but the problem is that this is the final race of championship, and both me and one m8 are in 1st. i must win

i will try what they say, except going slower in chicanes

thks
I actually have an old set from patch Q for the FO8 on FE4. I don't know how well it will work in patch U, though. It went over curbs quite easily, even with the weaker suspension back then. I think I even held the WR there for a few days.
#7 - indie
Hi

Could i do both things?
I mean increase ride height and soften the suspension?
Could that unbalance a good setup?

Another hipoteses could be rise the value of bump dumping?

Thanks in advance

cya
indie, that's exactly how you soften the suspension. Just be careful to maintain the front:rear stiffness ratio. If you scale both ends down proportionally, it'll be close enough that you can tweak it one way or the other when it's the right stiffness overall. I typically turn the bump damping all the way down for maximum compliance.
Most sets I see are typically WAY overdamped. Dunno how they keep control over the bumpy bits (although in fairness LFS is fairly flat).
