Simple question, what would you be doing if there was no such thing as LFS ? (perish the thought)

After finally conceding that NKpro was a lost cause, i'd be playing every single mod ever released for GPL, and, because it's GPL, as usual, i'd be driving sideways along the straight bits, and straight, at the corner bits.
And, playing either Ghost Recon or America's Army in a solo game, respawn-dead, respawn-dead, respawn-dead, typing "FFS give uz a chance will ya" while screaming at the monitor "Who the F**K is shooting me, B*****ds". Or, in a co-op game, running round like a headless chicken, shooting all my team mates in the back of the head.

Come to think of it, i already do that now, just not as often.

(I'd be interested to find out what the Devs would be doing.)

Hmmm, this is a hard one. I would atleast have 115€ more money because I would't upgraded my MS-wheel to MOMO without LFS. I wouln't be playing around with racing games that much...or maybe with some crappy ones I dunno. I would have epic-sets in WoW (thats a scary one :S). My english would be even worse. I wouldn't be making skins so I wouldnt know how to use my PSP7. I wouldnt watch TopGear (:shhh, because LFS made my intrest to cars higher. What else...I wouldnt be that good in physics in school because the intrest of cars lead to intrest to physics. And I doubt that without LFS I had 720 posts of allmost nonsence in any forum. Dam you

If it wasn't for LFS, I'd have never dug my wheel out of the attic. I'd still be playing games like Need For Speed and Street Legal Redline Racing (This more then NFS) most of the time. I'd have never finished uni, because LFS and a friend in Canada kept me sane, which kept me in uni, when I wasn't playing LFS I was talking to her.

Man uni is great for degrees, but you soon go crazy if you don't have something to keep your grey matter turning. But I guess you can say if it wasnt for LFS I'd be either in a dole queue right now, or have a crappy job somewhere hating every second of my waking life.

I would probably be selling drugs (not saying that would be a good thing, just a fact), or getting into trouble, or wouldnt have a clean Criminal Record as I do now.

i would probably have been better at college and done alot more work.

If there wasnt LFS, i wouldn't know my team mates, and also a lot of great guys from the community ! It even hurts to imagine that there is no LFS
So lets just keep thinking about S3 , and not about not having LFS at all !

um...out with my mates or riding my bike. i rarely play now anyway, so this is just another short stop for me when im online for the small amount of time a week.

so my life wouldnt be much different.

Without LFS, I would have tried the rFactor demo, then uninstalled like I did, tried the GTR demo, and uninstalled, tried the GTL demo, and uninstalled, and finally, tried the nKPro demo, and uninstalled. Then continued playing NR2003 offline because I never went online until LFS. I probably would be flying more than I do now, and watching more TV. LFS takes up all my time in the evenings, more than NR2003 did.

Probably playing ISI's games and be very happy with them.

Heh... I dunno. I was pretty burnt out on life in general. And was pretty depressed
at the loss of my best friend. I found this game completely by accident
and was accepted by the community right off the bat.
Not that I'd a killed myself or anything stupid like that, but LFS and it's community did "save my life" in a manner of speaking.
Funny thing is... I still think racing games suck in general... But
this game and my experience with it has helped me deal with life after Joe's death and indirectly helped me in my career.

I'd probably be a basket case like the rest of the neighborhood is around here with out LFS

I'd probably still be stuck following NFS games. Since I started driving LFS I lost a lot of interest in arcade racing games (though I still play them sometimes). I'd also probably still be heavily into FPS games, and wouldn't have such an interest in understanding vehicles & physics.

I'd have a lot more money in my pocket as well. All this sim-equipment is expensive, and I'm turning half the spare bedroom of the new house into a functional cockpit.

1. i'd stop procrastinating(sp error??).
2. I would be satisfied with Rfactor.

Ill be modest and say that I would probably be an Olympic athlete Propbably in some form of cycling

I'd be into roleplaying games like I was before LFS, I'd spend my spare time with coding open source software, I'd be leading a crusade against Microsoft in the name of Tux and I'd generally have no life.

I'd still be playing some retarded first person shooter

Quake3 or maybe I'd have tried MSFS earlier, then, probably, would not have tried X-Plane.

BTW, has anybody else tried the latter?
