Viper racing Anyone remember?
There are plenty of old racing games that were good in their day, but I honestly don't think you need anything more than:

LFS
iRacing
RBR

Maybe GPL too. GP-Bikes if you like bikes. The rest don't have the physics or gameplay to match.
Generally!

Oh my god YES. I spent so many childhood hours on that game. That game was the SHIZZLE.
all being grabbed as we speak...

need a bigger HD
Sounds like colleagues and friends downloading movies day and night and never going to watch them after the download finishes.

Just collecting large amounts of data. Backupping the Internet.
Colin McRae DiRT = off road awesomeness
RTR(Real-Time Racing) isn't really a game, buy I recommend it. Sign up for the beta testing! (Y)

I can't believe this hasn't been said
Test Drive Unlimited. Most fun you can have with your mates blasting thru tunnels in supercars Not the most realistic, but still worth a play.

I'd agree with NFS Porsche unleashed/porsche 2000. Definately one of my favourite from that series. I'd also say Forza 3 (they were all pretty good, but go for the latest one)
And Gran Turismo 4 or 5 when it comes out.
Don't forget that the great thing about most of these games are the mods

I think i have about 20gig in Nascar racing 2003 mods.

Oh and Redline Illegal Street Racing if you like building and modding cars.

You should get SLRR 2.2.1, then get MWM Patch, and then LE2MWM,

The game is perfectly stable for me, hasnt crashed once and I have quite a few mods installed

Ahh memories, I still play it from time to time.

Add GPL to the list, prepare for hours of frustration and major crashes.
Enthusia Professional Racing for the ps2
