The online racing simulator
One way to get more G25 Button's
Heh, nice Definetly looks better than a wireless pad attached
Quite like the look of that, and at only $29 it's damn cheap. Could come in real handy, esp for flightsim.

Any idea if this is available in the UK ?

[edit] Yep, only £15 at Play.com
I'm assuming it works fine on a PC ? No drivers or anything needed ?
Yep, works in windows with no extra drivers, and of course the ps3.

Brill

I've had a look on the net to see if there are any other mini keypads like this one, and i see Xbox do one for the 360. It has a lot more keys on it, but seems a bit more bulky, and i don't think you can use it without an Xbox controller.

If anyone else knows of a tiny tiny little usb keyboard (approx 6inch long) i'd definitely trade a of box of cookies for a link. Otherwise i think i'll go get this PS3 one.

Choc chip & Hazelnut please

Oh bollocks, you live in Newcastle too, can't blame excessive postage for not sending them then

Actually i did have a look at that earlier today. But what i'm really looking for is a tiny keyboard with separate number keys, rather than having to shift+ (this is primarily for FSX). There are a few around the 8inch mark like that one above, but i really need one about 6 inchs to fit in the space on my yoke.

Found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/83Keys-M ... p;_trksid=p3286.m14.l1318 but it looks particularly shite

Was kinda hoping for one like the Xbox 360 messenger kit keyboard thing http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/hardware/x/xbox360messengerkit/ but with a usb connection

Failing that, i was thinking of buying a cheap PDA and hooking it up to the pc and using it as an extra input device. Just not sure how easy it is to set that up ?

Does software come with it so you can program buttons, or is it just like an additional keypad?

Wow that does deserve a cookie. That's real sweet that is, cheers

But, yet another example of rip-off Britain $150 US with an exchange rate of approx 2-1, so yes we're paying £100 GB. It's nice but a bit pricey.

Actually i've had a good scan around the net and realised i'd completely forgotten about Joy2key. That should do away with the need to shift+ everything and bring it all back to one a touch keystroke type thing. So perhaps that PS3 keypad will do the trick after all.

@Ash, yeah, as far as i can tell it's all plug and play, exactly like any other standard keyboard out there. But if you use Joy2key you'll be able to fully programme it to do just about anything you want.
Thanks
I attached a second wireless mouse to my wheel and now have 6 extra buttons and the scroll wheel, all configurable via uberoptions

why wont you just stick a keyboard on it
Well mouse buttons are bigger and I couldn't fit a whole keyboard on my G25

Plus I had the mouse anyway, just wanted to let people know how to do it without spending any money

ROFL, ure kidding right? Maybe i should attach my ffb joystick to so my future GF would have a rotating, vibrating, moving dildo?

that may inspire me to strap my Nintendo Gamecube controller on my G25, lol
maybe you can put a laptop on it

*thread bump*

I've sent a PM to the OP asking this, but incase he doesn't reply, does anybody know the best way to attach one of these to the wheel?

I've just ordered one from Amazon (logic3 instead of madcatz though) and I'm wondering if it's easy to attach it securely, my initial idea is some velcro, but something more sturdy would be better.
I used silicone. Extremely strong and possible to remove if you really need to. I attached the cradle to the wheel with silicone btw, not the keyboard directly

I got your pm.

I used the plastic bracket that comes with the kp, cut off the curvy parts and drilled a hole for one of the g25 bolts to go thru with a large washer, also added a small bit of double-sided tape between bracket and wheel.

Thanks for the reply Should have it delivered by tomorrow and will hopefully get it all set up quickly enough.
I picked one of these up today from my local Best Buy. This thing looks great, and will work double duty as a wireless KB for my HTPC. $20 US out the door

That's a great idea from the OP, been searching this forum for a solution!

I've ordered mine today from play.com.

Cheers
