New Language : Español Latino
Hello, South American and Mexican drivers.

We now have a new language : Español Latino (updated by Leandrus). The idea is that it should be good for all American Spanish users. Everyone knows that all those South American countries really have their own style, but we suppose that the difference across the Atlantic is greater.

Please try it out, using the test patch :
http://www.lfsforum.net/forumdisplay.php?f=66

And please report here :

- Any mistakes you find
- Anything that is too "Spanish" and not "American Spanish"
- Anything that doesn't sound too good to you

Hopefully we'll get a good language for you all.
Thanks, cheking it
Just a little thing

"Included "Latino" translation : South American / Mexican Spanish"

why only most European people thing that only: South American exist?

its a little bit humilliant...

its:

North American = Central American = South American

all that 3 make: Latin American

I've always thought that Latin America has been Central + South.
I guess because Central America is a region, not an actual continent.

I see your point though, Central America is part of the continent of North America so my short description is not very good.

I don't know if most Europeans make the same mistake but until now I did think of North America as : Canada, Alaska, USA, Mexico. For some reason I thought everything South of Mexico was in the continent of South America. But I won't make that mistake again.
Leandrus, after modifying your translation, I think some phrases should be modified, i.e:

Quote from Aston Testdrive - Race About_Latino.txt :Este auto es un prototipo real existente de un deportivo de Finlandia propulsado por un motor Saab turbo cargado.

Difícil su conducción en su límite.

I think 'Saab turbo cargado' should be 'Saab turbo' without cargado. I think 'Turbo charged' is translated only as 'turbo'.

'Difícil su conducción en su límite' should be 'Difícil de conducir al límite'

Quote from Autocross Course - MRT_Latino.txt :Conduzca por el curso de autocross, sin tocar los conos.

Realice una línea limpia.

Cruce temprano y con menor potencia de la dirección. Para ir más rápido, el arco que lleve debe ser más grande.

Maybe 'El curso de autocross' should be 'circuito de autocross' or 'trazado de autocross'.

'Realice una línea limpia' should be 'Realice una trazada limpia'.

'Cruce temprano y con menor potencia de la dirección...' should be something similar to 'Gire temprano y con menos grados de giro de volante...'

3) Maybe 'El curso de autocross' should be 'circuito de autocross' or 'trazado de autocross'.

5) 'Cruce temprano y con menor potencia de la dirección...' should be something similar to 'Gire temprano y con menos grados de giro de volante...'

My opinion:

1)umm I think it´s diferent say: "Saab turbo charger" than "Saab super charger" so. the word "turbo" is necesarie becase make a different. (In my opinion)

2 and 3) I agree!!

4) The word "trazado" is not common here. The word "line" it´s perfect.

5) I think it´s better "Cruce temprano y con menos grados del giro de volante".

Come on Scawen, I try to speak english and u will be try speak spanish.

1) I'm not saying that the word 'turbo' should be remove. I think it should say: 'un deportivo de Finlandia propulsado por un motor Saab turbo'
4) It's ok then.
5) Is 'Cruce' more common there than 'Gire'? If this is true, it's right for me then. But the rest of the phrase should be modified.
