ARGH. I can't stand it when I'm not exactly in the middle of my screen, and I'm always moving left or right

Really good screen placement. Makes the virtual wheel redundant

yup, that's my little baby. BTW, i can't stand the virtual wheel. It bugs the hell out of me so I remove it.

For me, Windows XP shows 3.25 GB available RAM, with 1GB Videocard :s

Where are you seeing the 3.25GB available reported?

Win+Break, task manager.
Quote from amp88 :What does dxdiag say?

(System tab): 3328MB RAM
(Display tab): Approx. Total Memory: 2799MB
(GPU-Z): Memory: 1024MB

I don't understand why dxdiag and task manager are reporting the 'wrong' value for RAM. System properties can be ignored but I would expect dxdiag and task man to show ~ 3000 MB RAM.

These are the screenshots for my system.

Vista Home Premium 32 bit
4GB RAM (2 * 2GB modules)
1GB video card (Radeon HD3870x2)

System properties:

Dxdiag:

Task manager:

Dxdiag and task manager should show usable memory.
i get the same thing back. i have a 512mb 8800GT and vista picks it up as over 2GB :s

I like your....TV?

First time I've seen a screen set as a TV like that.
Another small update.

I got some more RAM from work - but annoyingly the only RAM that fits PC#2 is stuff without heatspreaders thanks to the rubbish layout of the mobo and the heatsink clearances. To make it fit it meant I had to go for 6GB of RAM in each rather than 8GB in PC#2, and 4 in PC#2.

Either way - now back to 6GB of RAM in both PC's.
Is it worth it? Because I might want 6-16GB ram...

Nice setup, but turn virual steering wheel off.
I like it Glen, looks nice and stable and that seat looks pretty comfy haha. Shifter seems a little low though?
Quote from UncleBenny :I like it Glen, looks nice and stable and that seat looks pretty comfy haha. Shifter seems a little low though?

Yeah I made sure it is solid as haha, comfy seat cost $20 bucks and yes the shifter is too low. I am going to remake the whole side console alot higher and add a keyboard moveable swing panel in the next week or so, then I'll be pretty happy with it
is this you wheelchair man? the car seat is just like mine
Quote from ndiw :is this you wheelchair man? the car seat is just like mine

yeah m8 that's what old racers get as a wheel chair now do you want to get old too?
Gearshift is on wrong side otherwise you could ship it to me right away.
Well done, Glenn. Looks very nice. Must be fun racing like this.
