I have a guest account set up for friends to join me online. Is it possible to reset pb's for this account when needed?

You can clear PBs on LFSWorld.

I knew that would be the reply and now I have to ask the stupid question... where? I have been looking there.

Just click on the time (pb) on your dektop and it offers you the option to delete it.
