I find it hard to believe that such a small development team could create a game that is far superior to all other racing sims on the market. I doubt even GT5 will have as realistic physics as LFS (i think physics are LFS's best feature). One things for sure though...GT5 will have great graphics, but i would choose a realistic feel to the car over next gen graphics everytime.

I love LFS...i think it is far beyond and other racing sim in realism, fun and online play. BUT...i dont know whether im the only one but shifting without lifting off the accelarater just ruins it for me. I know it is possible to flat shift in real life but....for example, racing GTR cars, in real life they would never flat shift. I somtimes try not to flat shift on pupose, to make it more realistic. But the advantage you gain from flat shifting is so much that i loose speed and the competive edge just to make it more realistic. It just doesnt seem right to me....does anyone think the devs will change this somehow....???

i think the smoke and dirt effects in lfs are not very realistic. I wish the devs could release a patch that would:

1. increase the amount of smoke
   
2. Enable the smoke to stay visible for longer, like hanging in the air etc.

i think this would improve the game dramatically. Like when you are driving down the staight for example, if someone as spun in front of you, their tyre smoke would hang like a cloud over the track and you would have to drive through it. I think adding this feature would greatly improve the realism of LFS any thouhts?

i dont really care for driving the oval, i think it is a bit boring. Ok, it is fun when you are nose to tail, in the slipsteams. But when your not, it gets a bit repetative in my opinion...but, specialized team speak servers would be nice.
