Just read this and every time i read "graphical updates" i think to myself, "please... PLEASE don't forget about the players with a potato computer!"
Graphics might not be iRacing level, but look at it! Intel Core i3, 8gb ram, 10gb disk space! I run LFS on a single core amd 64, 1gb ram, and 1gb is used by LFS...
Wouldn't recommend it for a more serious racer, but if you're in the same place i was in (wanted to just get started with a wheel) it's great! They are quite cheap these days and have a strong force feedback.
Has anyone thought about using the force feedback data from wheel software to drive a motion platform? It seems like that would be a really easy way to get data.
You could pair it with an arduino and a few high power servos with gearboxes for a cheap motion sim solution.
Join [VT] VTEC Race&Rally at 2:00PM Eastern Standard Time for a unique 6cyl endurance race on Blackwood Historic.
Get your LX6 and FZ5 ready for 75 laps!

I use a high res texture pack that I can't remember the name of at the moment. I'll find it later.
I also went ahead and downloaded all the music files from https://www.lfs.net/downloads and it makes it way more enjoyable. Make sure music is enabled in setup and race screens.
I also use CarSoundRemixer, which can be found on the unofficial addons page near the top.
There exists applications to report a police trap and get reports posted by others, in real life. Just for fun i thought to myself, "would this work in LFS??"
Does insim/outsim client side send coordinate positions?
Edit: I've only been pulled over once on TC so this isn't for me
