For me demo racers are welcome, i was a demo racer too 2 months ago so i can understand their "ignorance" about LFS, i had it too.
And however i dont think that crackers or wreckers will post here, probably they dont know that forum at all.
I have to add a thing about S2 racers:
in my first days i didnt notice it because however the phenomen is a lot less diffused then on demo servers, but there are wreckers on S2 too, especially on servers with a lot of people.
And there are people that are not wreckers but dont know THE BASIC RULES for fair racing (for example that u can change only 1 time trajectory when u are under an overtaking manouver), and a lot of people cut u the way and try to crash u on the side walls or getting u out by shooting your front wheel with their rear. Imho LFS not need only and official manual, but need a guide for fair racing too.
Lot of people that are racing bad ignore that they are in wrong, and think that that's the correct way for racing.
Before all the test drive in singleplayer there should be a theory section where are explained basic rules for fair racing.
- WRC car
- '60 (67 non winged or 68/69 winged... or both xD) F1 Car (Definately needed!!! But need some old style track, modern tracks with chicanes are not good for that car)
- Le Mans Prototype car
If i could add the fourth, i choose a Nascar Stock Car, but with more oval tracks.
After watching all the quarter of finals im really thinking that we are able to arrive at finals. Didn't thought it at the start of the Cup.
Imho final will be Italy - France (last one was Euro 2000, damn lucky Treseguet )
Germany slept against Argentina and imho Portugal is not at the level of that France. Italy seems to have found a good teamplay, and Buffon is able to do miracles xD .
Leaving FZR with a NON sequential gearbox and making FXR and XRR with sequential one (faster on changing gear then manual one) can be a good way for equilibrating the GTR class, that atm is dominated by FZR.
I mean real datas, like the one on the steering wheel, but locked on the cockpit and not on the wheel. Something like the FOX without the steering wheel.
I have never used virtual ones. I don't like it. :/
I dont know if this is possible mantaining the retrocompatibility with patch U, but it would be very usefull for all the people that like me have disabled the Steering wheel visualization in lfs if on Fv8 and Bf1 the incar Hud would be visualized without the wheel too (something like the AIM in netkarpro)
Atm each time i use fv8 and bf1 i have to reactivate steering wheel and pilot, losing time and playing not as i would like, because no steering wheel becamed an habit.
When will be released the new version of this that support bf1?
I have noticed that are not much the servers that support insim relay.
Why scawen does not force all the server hosts to automatically activate it?
(without a separate subscription i mean, something in the dedicated server)
I have seen that there are some websites that use an hotlap classification, where users add their hotlaps, and those appear in the page (probably sql based)( http://lfsfrance.servergamers.com/ for example )
Where i can find some scripts used for doing this (for s1 and or s2)?
I cant imagine a player that is good rbr and gpl that cant play lfs.
I have both too and both are really really hard.
Are you sure that u have set your wheel in lfs correctly?
How much degree u use on the profiler for lfs?
Are u using self made setups or any specific set? Or default one?
About fraps, on my pc (a64 3200+ 939 E6 + x800gto2 16pipes) usually lfs goes at 120 130 fps. But when i start capture with fraps it slow down at 30 and less fps. How can be that video so fluid?
How did u make these?
Which capture and editing video programs did u use?
And how did u used custom cameras?
How much time did u spend for making it?
And which is the name of the intro soundtrack?
yeah, i mean the lights too.
If u see the cam is not moving here, so if they applied a filter as a sort of semitrasparent black image with white exactly under the lightbulbs it should be able to appear as it appeared.
Dunno nothing about sony vegas, but i know that adobe premiere has been used for mounting parts of real films too.
About the animation, i think that lot of the camera views was made with fixed and locked cameras and then used only in a part as 70 80% so that he could do the lateral and up and down movement of the camera without rotating it, as on 2d, like on some japanese cartoon. Maybe done with adobe Premiere
The night section was been probably made with the lfs night mod.
Or maybe with some sort of filter applied on the original video. Infact in all the night parts the camera view is simply like blocked.
The rest, just driving skill
