Its just friggin annoying when you crash _every_ time at the start of the race, with just enough damage to not being able to drive properly

Ok, I really like playing on this server...

Its really cool to play with like 20 people, but there need to be rules, its _very_ annoying not te be able to start off properly, because some jackass overthrottles (or something)(or not being able to drive through the first round)
(yea, I too make mistakes sometime, but it takes no more than 1 second for me to press shift+s and pit immidiately.

I know everyone makes mistakes sometime but its really annoying if you crash someone, and you have to wait vor 10 minutes before the race starts again.

Quote from detail :Help me, please, to understand, I can't find anything relevant in the inet.

I thought I knew how the anti-roll bars work. But I guess there is something new to learn. Correct me, please. Anti-roll bar connects the wheels of one axle and redistributes the force between theis ammortisers.

But one guy tells me that there are such bars mounted to the dependent suspensions of some trucks. I looked attentively to a scheme of a dependent suspension and can't understand where to attach an antiroll bar.

I'm not joking. Please, explain me this.

With the antirollbar you adjust the stiffness of the (doh) antirollbar, so, with low settings the cars rolls over more than with a higher (stiffer) set

Quote from Mounthy :port 80 is the default port for internet(http?), if you can see a website its normally open.

if unlocking still failed it probably because LFS didn`t use the http-protocol for unlocking (duno what LFS use)
and your firewall/proxy didn`t allow other protocols here.

Yea, but our proxy is located @ port 8080, so LFS should use that too, but the problem is that it doesnt

Quote from Mounthy :LFS main folder\ cfg.txt search for a line
port 80 0
set it to 1 and unlock should work behind a firewall.

That doesnt seem to work...

Our proxy adress / port is 172.16.180.8:8080, and i have Your Freedom listening @ localhost:1080 / localhost:8080

I changed the port LFS should use, but I dont think it affects LFS

Tomorrow i'll bring my USB cable with me

Thanks in advance

edit:

Port 80 1
Auto Kick 3
Address Name 1
Server IP 0.0.0.0
Server Name
Server Port 63392
Server Pass

Quote from the_angry_angel :Unfortunately not. As far as I am aware, LFS uses a custom port so it only needs to be allowed through the firewall - which I dont think your SysAdmin will like.

Edit:
You may wish to try tunneling out though - as long as you have a machine outside it should work

I'm using Your Freedom as a proxy, but i can't find where i can edit the use of ports / proxy.

Could anyone tell me how I can unlock S2 behind my firewall?

(Yes, I read the FAQ)
