Cool, but don't know why it is not documented, had to stumble upon it serendipitously

Hi,

Assume you have pressed the W key to look to right, it will reach its maxium angle set up by you. Now if you want to look even further to right, press the E key, without lifting the W key, the driver will turn his head even more towards the right. The vice versa for looking left is also true in which you should press E+W instead of W+E. Find attached the screenshots

I didn't find these info in the document so wanted to share it. In case this info is too obvious or redundant, my apologies, pls ignore

+1, but actually even now its kind of possible I guess. I have seen people driving with plain clothes, t-shirts etc, although it may not be simple jpg content

Quote from cargame.nl :Your ex(perience) rating only is 429. That means you don't have enough experience with LFS and other cars then (for example) GTR. All 'noobs' select GTR and crash everybody else because they have no idea how the other cars handle.

See example in start post.

If ex>=550 then you are allowed to immediately jump into a GT2 seat.

You can up your ex rating fast by doing fast hotlaps in combos you never driven before. (But most of the racers sit out the ranking bit)

If you can't handle anything else then a GTR car then it's better to start cruising like the majority of other inexperienced 'racers'

.

Dude, yes I get your point, but in my case it is the case that I find most comfy with GTR. And I have driven other cars somewhat so I am aware of how they handle. The other day due to some bug(or not) or something, I got GT3 enabled in KY3 at cargame.nl s2, and I didn't crash or anything, I drove well, better than I drove the TBOs. And as you suggested, I have already driven 160 hotlap combos, (not very fast though), but I wanted to test out different combos. Having said that, I too have recently realised that my exp with cars other than GTR is very less, so I am consciously trying to pan out to different cars/tracks combo. That is one of the reasons I started visiting cargame.nl regularly, so that I am exposed to different cars/tracks.

Off Topic: Hey, that was an open configuration layout wasn't it? How did you get only the portions of the track which are in use to appear?

No dude, that was a standard AS5 track
How do I setup for restrictions?

Hi,

How do I make/optimize setups for restrictions? That is, say, I have a good set that I am very comfortable with for the FXR, how do I modify it for FX3? Is there a thumb rule/principles that I can apply, or should I start from scratch? What are the parameters that require tweaking? One thing I have learnt is, I need to make the gears closer and shorter to use with the lesser powered engine. (OR am I wrong? ). Anything else that I need to do?

Hi, sorry for not updating you guys, I thought I did. The limads on separate line works. We are using PROS 2.5.8. Thank you for your help.

But there is still this problem. For some users, when he wins the race, his second place gets updated. Sometimes the 3rd place gets updated. Please find attached a screenshot. In this screenshot, Pfh Ragesh won the race but my 3rd place points got updated (0-8-10). You can also see that the 1st position column in my points list is 0, because whenever I win Airio thinks I am 2nd or 3rd. Can you please help us with this. Note: In our configuration we have mandatory pitlane enabled. Any help will be appreciated.

Ya dude that is a good site, but the OP said he already tried the setup grid website ( I presumed he checked all the 3 hotlaps, sprint and end section). Hence I was providing him an alternate.

Quote from Franky.S :who is the girl in the avatar?

and multi-class works because some people may be quick in fxo, but one might be faster in xrt. then you have good fight on. Not sure how the rb4s would do, probably terrible.

That is why restrictions would be used. I don't know why people hate RB4's . I find its handling beautiful and poised and delicate.

Exactly, thanks for the inspiration gonna practice this track. But I have done a few more laps on Aston Historic Rev which LFSW won't show. Except the chicane rest is same, but even there I have done only a few laps, so yeah gonna practice

Well, you have a point, just realised and surprised to know I have done only 53 laps in this track in all the 4 cars put together. Thanks. I take your comment positively, and it is almost the same track for NWL this weekend, hopefully this will be a track I love by this month end
