Yes. The realistic damage is not forgiving in any sense of the word, it was a silly low speed fail that DNFd me on Bisanne II. That said I compete in a few RBR leagues that are all changing to realistic damage this year so I figured I would trial it here.
But should an LFS league become a reality I may change the damage to reduced so as you can get away with a few more mistakes.
Sorry, someone was talking about Joni on teamspeak, and he is finnish too... and I fail granted.
All in all an ok test if not a little meh as only 3 people ran in it. Am very annoyed at myself as I was beating Matti for the first few stages and again at the end but just made one too many errors on bisanne II which cost me 4 and a half odd minutes. D:
Well done Matti for winning that one. Would have been a matter of seconds had I not cocked up on the snow stages and Bisanne II but thats hardly a good reason. The rally winner is the best driver over the stages and this test showed Matti to be that driver.
Bad luck Miro, I think you just need to get used to the cars and stages and maybe relax your driving a bit so as you can get to the end.
P.S - Miro did improve by almost 7 minutes on his second run through but still DNF'd most of the stages.
Have been watching your times unvail... I will post up your overall times once Matti finishes this last stage and will add mine to them later on this evening when I do the rally
You will need a fresh RBR install in your documents, the RSRBR 2012 mod, the full car pack, the full track pack and the online fix posted above. That should do it and you would be able to make the rally at 20:30 UTC no problem.
On another note could everyone please let me know their RSRBR online name so as I can match up names to times in the results.
Both Sessions are now hosted... you will be able to join at the times shown by the sessions and the first stage will commence 15 minutes after the start time.
Note : SS7 will not be included in the results due to an error on my part with one being at night and the other not. However a mention will be given in the results to the fastest driver through the stage at both night and during daylight.
Ok... I will host two rallies today with the password : liveforspeed
I will take results and put them out after the event has taken place. Please use either the N4_1 or N4_2 car packs or I will not include you in the results.
Times for events will be roughly 18:00 GMT and again at 20:30 GMT. Go to either, or even go to both although in the interest of fairness I will only record your first result should you go to both unless you fail to finish any stages in your first attempt due to a computer crash etc....
Keep an eye out on the public sessions later on.
Thanks,
Oscar.
P.s - Damage will be set to realistic for the time being.
Guys, how would you all feel about a rally over the 2nd and 3rd of January.
You would only have to do one day but I could set up 2 rallies a day to accommodate everyone with a time that suits them. Based on what has been said I am thinking for this test to run the N4_1 and N4_2 packs as they house the P-WRC cars and give us a good base to start off with.
The rally will be 10 stages and seeing as it is a practice event there will be a service after every stage. Each surface will be driven on at least twice so as both good and bad conditions can be tested.
A provisional stage list will be released in the next couple of days.
If this poses any issues for those interested please let me know.
