Quote from axus :There's two cars up for grabs - LX4 and LX6, take your pick
The LX6 is T7R|Exodus (cmckowen)'s seat, the other is T7R|Tristan (tristancliffe)'s seat.

I've only done the lx6 on this track, so it's better if I stick with that. But, if I need to drive the lx4, im fine with that.

it might be that you're overcompensating with your steering wheel, which also causes weight to shift to places where it shouldn't go.
Just pick a braking point, and a steering point, and keep the car stable (come of the brake softly, and come on to the throttle softly).

If that shit happens, just look for a different server. I also got tired of being bumped of the track in almost every race I joined (and i guess we're talking about the same server), except when I started on the first row.

After that I went to the stcc servers and had the fun of my life. Yes there are the usual dickheads offcourse, but a lot more people can handle a xrg or a uf1 better then a gtr.

So if you wanna save on asprines and heart medication, a change of scenery is the way to go

I use the red buttons on my g25 to look around, and the paddles for teamspeak push-to-talk(I hate people who use the sound trigger ).
On the shifter I have the pit limiter and the horn, and that are all the necessary buttons for me.

Great video, I love that show
But the onboard in the end was a little bit weird, never seen anyone drive like that.

Yeah, it improved a little bit, especially the increased degrees of steering improved my driving.

I tried to fix the cracking problem last night by installing new drivers for my soundblaster live, which only made my sound worse.
Then I read a post by cue-ball that his on board sound didnt have the problem, so I tried and it worked. Only prob with the onboard sound was that CSR started to produce sounds with a lot of cracking in it (and not lfs :really.
So i went back to my soundblaster live, deinstalled all the creative crap from add/remove software, and tada, no more cracking sounds in lfs.

I have no idea what really happened with my changes, but apperantly you can get rid of it.

My advice would be to remove all the sound crap, like utilities, drivers, or even revert to older drivers.

I usually put lfs.exe on abovenormal priority in the task manager which seems to reduce the stuttering, but it's not completely gone. It might be a placebo thing though, as I did not count the stutters and compared it

You're right, I've started watching f1 since melbourne 96 non stop, never missed a single quali or race, until this year....
The people who drive f1 nowadays are just not interesting compared to the people who drove in the 90's. Same with the cars, they look crap if you compare it with a 97 car.

probably crappy windows is ****ing up, or anti virus kicking in, or maybe you should defrag your drive.

You can also press windows button + r, and then type in perfmon. That logs the performance of your system. After you had a slowdown, alt tab out and look at the graphs and let magical troubleshooting commence.

If that doesnt work, maybe you wanna swap your pc for my pc

I also feel something weird in my clutch pedal, but honestly, I don't notice it while driving (more important things on my head).
And you will probably void your warranty if you open it, but the pedal set is so easy to open up and close that they'll never notice it (as long as you use a brain when opening (they have a surprise for stupid people under the carpet thingy)).

Never seen that before, would be fun if you maked a video of it.

What also helps heel and toe is having the thottle pedal further away, and the brake pedal closer (towards you), so when you look from the side you can see a difference of at least 1 cm between the pedals. I modded my g25 pedals like this and I'm only 2 tenths slower then my pb (which I did with the sequential setup).
The only problem I have is the speed of my downshifts, so most of the time I'm downshifting more then 1 gear (like going from 6th to 4th). Threshold breaking is also a big problem
