Both on the road course and oval side US has always had a large number of fantastic tracks. So Tilke is very worrying...well...atleast he isnt trying to renovate a current track, but rather building a new one and hey...there's a chance it might be good. But if not...well, atleast the US wouldnt have lost a good track

Quote from PMD9409 :Well Indy was built before F1 was it not?

I think he was trying to say no track in the US was purposely 100% built for F1, which would be true.

F1 could just race at martinsville

Quote from Ori :This all happened as I was expecting lizardfolk to get behind u and do a proper draft. He obviously wouldn't and so I moved in front of him to give him the draft instead of u so that we could still get the process right. He then decided to go outside and inside again. After we we were in the turn I thought he would finally get it but he does the same as one lap before.

You will never see me block unless it is the end of the race or another considerable reason. On oval, only a very beginner blocks instead of drafting.

Well actually Elliot and I was trying to get rid of you and the both of us couldnt understand the slight bit of weaving that you did. Did you want to draft with me or him? Or did you want to block us? It seemed that you kept changing your mind and that resulted in our contact in T1.

Was a great race for me. I'm happy to be competitive (some what :razz again and passing people. Had a very nice last lap with arox. Great racing arox, was unfortunate we didnt have the pace for blauwhoff and cattell...but...perhaps next time

BUT so many people just decided to overtake b4 the s/f line....idk if i wanna protest them all but that HAS to change. It was causing a lot of confusion and crashes :/

"So, who else heard the rumor about F1 driver Mark Webber driving the 83 Red Bull cup car at Infineon? How cool would that be?"

Not that I'm the greatest sim racer ever or the best race car driver period...but here's my 2 cents.

I think Nick's right too. Driving basically RWDs all my sim racing life...every time i step into a FWD car (which is very VERY rare) I keep forgetting that when I'm about to spin out I have to floor it. So I sometimes (out of habit) brake and thus the FWD just snaps around. Even when I push into my mind that I am driving a FWD I still forget to floor it each time I get out of shape.

While a RWD is theoretically harder to save. A FWD is logically simple to save but is sometimes very very hard to execute due to it being so counter intuitive.
