I am not comparing the XRR FZR like you want to battle them in drift, it is idiotic especially when you cannot edit important things like power to keep them equal....

well actually if you take a look xrr is around half the power.. ((-500lbs))

but yet still on a 270mm tire.
this is not realistic at all..

i agree with scawens first update more realistic..

why are we running such big tires on a car that has half the horsepower of a drift spec car, according to the webs Vaughn runs `

`The car sits on 18-inche wheels wrapped in Nitto NT05 tires sized 295/35R18 on the rear and 275/35R18 on the front. ``

Its V-8 engine delivers a total of 845 horsepower (not 490bhp)

Personally, I liked the alternative better.

The tires seem way too grippy

Quote from Scawen :

I did a quick test with the FZR and didn't see clutch issues.
Can you describe exactly how to reproduce an issue?

I'd like to know how to reproduce this. Can you make it happen again? If so please describe exactly how, and attach the setup if this happens with a specific setup.

Not sure I have been trying to reproduce and came up with nothing, I even checked for hardware faults. Will post a replay if it happens again.

Unless I missed some information before// Patch seemed to throw an error, installing over the previous patch.

edit : extracting to another folder and replacing files worked though.

Scarwen it appears the clutch still comes on with auto cluth off (XRR), maybe want to take a look

edit/ seems to fix after respawn, strange

can replicate it by putting it in high gear going low speeds.

But it has happened at high speeds for me to.

XRR is feeling much more predictable and smooth thanks for the updates. hoping for something with concrete in it. Thanks for the love for us drifters.

Scarwen while we are on the topic of drifting, can you take a look into the concrete surface, it is used a lot in some of the custom layouts that are built, but it has a very different feeling in comparison to the regular road surface if you could make it the same as, or close to the current surface of au1 or other tracks that would also be a very nice thing. thanks.

I would like to point out an issue with the brakes, they are very strong could do with some tweaking to be able to use them well for drifting.

There is still an issue in regards to the revs of the cars, if a person you are spectating is spamming the accelerator with the mouse the input can appear buggy and at moments even seem like a rev limiter.

Hi scarwen so some updates for you,

The XRR really feels twitchy in comparison to the FZR. The FZR is very smooth and very enjoyable to drift for me, as for the XRR I'm not so sure something feels off about the car that I cannot quite put my finger on but the transitions are not as smooth.

I have found 10% restriction more enjoyable on the XRR for drifting comfortably.

Edit- with some editing of the setup it seems to be a little less twitchy but still feels very different in comparison to the FZR in terms of smoothness.

Also, the tires still seem to burn a little quickly, I would prefer the grip level to fall and explode the tire rather than reaching extreme temperatures and then popping.

Hi Scarwen, interesting post, commenting on the xrg personally this car barely has enough power to push out the rear tires, mostly it requires heating to high temperatures for the rears to even kick out for the xrg extra steering would be pointless imo.

As far as the XRT goes for me it's already possible to sit at the maximum lock to comfortably drift on the autocross layouts extra steering angle would only help to save extreme amounts of angle and is not much of a big deal, although it would be fun to do some backward entry with the extended lock, it really isn't required to drive this car comfortably.

I support all other cars to have the steering lock changes especially lx4/6 and raceabout.

I would suggest considering something for the rb4, it is also used sometimes as a drift car.
