We at Concept Racing have got a great Team together and we thought it was about time to put together a Team Promo Movie.
The Promo is inspired by the Honda Advert of 2006 'Impossible Dreams'
Whilst we don't have any Motobikes in LFS we've certainly got an array of cars that would give us the effect.
Credit goes to Bean0 for the idea of using this style. The movie is the first one ive done with LFS sound included and still using windows Movie Maker.
so i have made a basic skin.... no sponsers yet - but let me know what you think of it so far and whether you would prefer YOUR name on the car and race number etc?????
But your thread started NOT saying anything about being geeky, and the geeky comment was made by you in post number #6 so it does not 'state' anything... infact you are the only one that 'claims' it....
think you should think more before posting pointless threads... the forum is a better place without these kinds of self-opinionated threads....
Concept Racing is pleased to announce its final Driver signing of the 2008 campaign.
Dan Watkin (danowat) former Adaptive Racing Supremo and organisor of the successful Road Summer and Winter Sprts Cups recently contacted Concept Racing about securing a driving role for the team. After racing against the Concept Racing drivers in several different races and servers after being impressed with the teams performances and attitude to racing Dan applied for a Team Driver position.
We were likewise pleased that Dan had contacted us. After several weeks of driving sessions and time spent getting to know the team in ventrillo we are pleased to announce Dan Watkins as a Concept Racing Driver.
As you are aware Dan drives all manner of LFS cars but his favourites are the FZ50 and the FXO, both of which he drives to a high standard.
As a Platinum licensed CTRA driver with a Yellow flag ratio of just 14% and a high finishing record, Dan is indeed a great addition to the squad.
All involved at Concept Racing wish him the very best and welcome him with open arms.
Please join us in welcoming Dan into our family.
With the addition of Dan to Concept Racing, the driver lineup is now complete and stands as follows:
D/L a fresh install of LFS and then copy over any files you want to kep (such as your skins folder and setup folder) might also want to keep your cfg file etc as well.
Concept Racing is pleased to announce that Lars Wylensek from Germany has joined its established driver line up.
Lars (zapphord) alias 'Eisbaer' recently contacted Concept Racing about driving for the team after spending some time racing against the Concept Racing drivers on several of the differnet available CTRA race severs and being impressed with the teams attitude to racing.
We were likewise impressed with Lars, both as a driver and as a person. After several driving sessions together, along with many hours already in ventrillo we are sure that Lars and Concept Racing will be the perfect match for each other.
Lars drives all manner of LFS cars from single seaters to TBO's and the GTR classes, nothing fazes him and he drives all of them in a consistant level.
As a Platinum licensed CTRA driver with a Yellow flag ratio of just 12% and a near 100% finishing record, Lars is indeed a great addition to the squad.
In addition during his application time with Concept he has also attained his CTRA National A Single Seater license.
All involved at Concept Racing wish him the very best and welcome him with open arms.
Please join us in welcoming Larsinto our family.
With the addition of Lars to Concept Racing, the driver lineup is now as follows:
Well, why not start by telling people about what cars you like to drive?
if you would want to race in any leagues, perhaps your availability etc etc
all this sort of information would only help your application.
What about asking teams who are looking for new members to contact you with respect for a 'try out' the sort of thing would entail/involve meeting up on a server and with the help of some ventrillo or TS be able to speak with team members and see how you get on.
An LFS team can be demanding and almost be like a marraige. It's always best to find out as much as possible about each other before taking that commitment.
You would also get a lot more respect for taking your time and joining the right team for YOU perhaps rather than just joining the first team that contacts you etc etc.
I'm not sure if this post might help you, but at least it might get you thinking a bit...
