I finally cleaned it, for the first time in about 4 years. Not going to lie, I kind of wish I hadn't. 4 years of dirt has hid a multitude of sins. Everything is exposed and obvious now. I really need to sort out the bodywork.

With GBP at the lowest it has been pretty much in history, now is the time to buy. It isn't going to get any cheaper, if anything, the price should go up to reflect the decreasing value of the pound. When I got S2 the pound was worth a little over 2USD. But still only £24, now the devs are essentially getting £12 for S2.

OK, I can't say much. But as one of the UK standby Bn, I can assure you, no such order has come through. You might want to get some juicy source for that. Maybe RAF are expecting to do some more air strikes, but nothing is happening with the Army right now.
I had to do some things to my RC recently. First I replaced the tub, as I slightly broke it. Was entertaining replacing the whole tub, haven't stripped down the thing since I got it back in 05/06, so it was useful to re-grease many things.
Then I decided for smashing around as a rally car, the touring chassis sat too close to the ground, so I modified the front and rear skid trays so the axles would drop lower and spaced out the springs as best I could (ran out of spacers). The increase in ride height is useful, just need to look at maybe some better tyres.

We're thinking it might buff out. It happened while in the care of the garage, so it is going away to the bodyshop so they can produce a quote for a repair.
The broken track rod (and in turn both alloys and tyres), is because the recovery firm who moved the vehicle had never moved a 4x4 auto before, some genius decided to move it in park (because selecting neutral is too much like hard work) and rather than using the towing eye it appears they wrapped a strap around the front axle. Getting them to pay up is proving to be a ballache though. They are still "investigating" the incident.
Feel sorry for the guy who owns that Sport. What is so hard about hitting the brake pedal when a vehicle is going out of control? Are people insane? "Oh no, this vehicle won't stop. Best scream rather than hitting the brakes."

So my job has changed slightly. I no longer work in IT. I now work for HRH.
I see it more as "the difference is so slight and given the distance from the screen you'll be sat, why care?" I run 1080 as it is native to my monitors, no other reason. But most of my YouTubing what what not is done at 720, I honestly have no problems with this. Hell I still remember TFC at 640x480 as it was all my 3DFX could handle. I still managed to get in hours of game play fun. If a slightly blurred texture is such an issue to you... turn off your computer and go out side. You've wasted your life so far.
