BVR N1 Procar Championship, a One-make series with limited setup adjustments

This championship introduces a restricted setup format to reduce setup advantages and keep the field competitive. While certain adjustments remain available, major vehicle settings are locked in order to promote consistent close racing.

Although inspired by the original Procar series of 1980, the championship format has been slightly changed to better suit sim racing competition/fun. Each event will feature both a short sprint race and a longer feature race.

Event Format :
Practice Session (15 min)
Qualifying Session (30 min)
Sprint Race
Feature Race

The sprint race provides shorter racing with a lower lap count and reduced points allocation, while the feature race presents a greater challenge and rewards significantly more championship points.... Talking about points, here's how it works,

Sprint race points :
P1 - 8
P2 - 6
P3 - 5
P4 - 4
P5 - 3
P6 - 2
P7 - 1

Feature race points :
P1 - 20
P2 - 16
P3 - 13
P4 - 11
P5 - 9
P6 - 8
P7 - 7
P8 - 6
P9 - 5
P10 - 4

BONUS POINTS
Pole Position - +1 Point (Sprint Qualifying Fastest Lap)
Fastest Lap - +1 Point (Only awarded in the Feature Race and only to drivers completing at least 75% of the race distance)

The grid order of the feature race is determined by the finishing order of the sprint race

Now for the main part, the setup regulations.. Here's a cool imaginary rule book photo (or if you want to be boring and read a "text" version instead of an image, go here and check the 'League Information'.

The first round will be at Westhill National Reverse. I have prepared 80s-styled pre-race posters for every race. The plan is to make it open-lobby but I may password-protect the server once qualifying starts, If I ever do, the password to each event will be posted along with the 'pre-race' poster in League News (like this post for example).. If anymore questions, feel free to ask.

Regulations and championship information may be revised if necessary.
