Due to the ongoing AWS outage, we were unable to broadcast the RTFR finale this evening. Some of our infrastructure relies on services that use AWS. We tried alternatives but were not able to get up and running in time.

We will post here, and advertise widely when we schedule a re-live stream.

Apologies for this, but hopefully we get a good audience to enjoy the final race of the season again.

Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

The people's car of LFS - XFG - was raced yesterday under the virtual sun of Fern Bay,Jamaica. If the car might be relatively simple, the track was not - the paved version of Black XL offered plenty of challenges, including few turns that have been used very rarely before,if at all. This was the 8th event with attendance over 30,so despite organizer throwing difficult challenges at racers, they still keep taking them!

The final race for 2021 standings practically symbolised this race - 2 drivers stood out of the rest and battled just each other for top position. And just like in overall standings, also in this race the dutchman R.Kardol came on top - he was faster in qualifying and earned his 10th pole position in RTFR. During race he lead all 8 laps and never gave the chance for pass to his main rival - 11th racewin earned and with it R.Kardol moved himself to 5th position in all time success ranking,he also added 51st top5 finish to his stats. Unite followed the leader close entire race, but only due winner's celebrative waves on finish straight was able to get close enough to clock the 25th closest finish in RTFR history, setting fastest lap of the race in final lap - his 20th,while also with top5 finish he marked a milestone - he earned his 50th of those. Doni was the best of the rest - he qualified and finished 3rd,both repeated personal best achievements in this event,8th top5 finish for him. Arska crossed the finish line 4th,which is repeated best result of the year for him, adding 14th top5 finish to achievements, his teammate P.Koivunen closed the top5,which is his best finish in RTFR from 6 tries, improvement by a single position though.

Just one RTFR race left this year, that's counted into specific standings - next week it's the 12th race of 2021 RTFR XL series, run with MRT at Rockingham's Oval, full details will be posted tomorrow. But also remaining 2 tuesdays of this year will be filled with RTFR action - in 2 weeks normal RTFR will return with racing of slick tyre cars, just like in old times, simply just for fun and achievements, but in 3 weeks it's planned to run RTFR-CCCC with one of the more promising custom cars. Besides these,RGE offers another 2 events this year - the 2022 AWS season will start already in 20th december with the electrified XFR,while 6 days later we will return to an old tradition - wrecking XRGs at Fern Bay's Bullring, because it will be Crashmaaas time!
