Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

The first RTFR of the 2nd half of the year offered racing in custom racetrack, which brought new challenges to the racers when tackling the course with relatively low powered FOX. Even if this was already the 3rd RTFR in this layout (both previous races were in pre-custom grid era),it was 1st for most of the attendees. A total of 25 cars were standing on the grid - the lowest value of the year.

Despite starting from 2nd position, the race was dominated by Gábor, who made a pass for lead in 1st hairpin and pulled away from competition through whole race, leading all 20 laps. It was 2nd win in row for Gábor - he's the 15th driver in RTFR history to win back to back races, but what's more exclusive - he's the 6th driver to score at least 9 wins in total. The hungarian scored also his 4th fastest lap of the race and 19th top5 finish. The current rating and standings leader R.Kardol advanced 2 positions during the race and finished 2nd,scoring his 41st top5 finish, his main rival scored his 7th pole position, but had a bad start and could not convert the qualifying success into race success - 3rd place finish for him to complete all S1dus podium for the 3rd race in row,40th top5 finish for him. After repeating his best qualifying result 3rd,Mandula lost a position in race to finish 4th,rounding his top5 count to 20,TJ finished 5th,which is his 2nd top5 finish.

Next week it's time for the longer RTFR version, which will feature XFG race at Kyoto's longest standard configuration GP Long, full details will be posted tomorrow, server is already set up for practice. But in 2 weeks normal length RTFR will return with one of the street legal cars, watching the stream carefully you might get a clue which and where.
RGE offers also racing in other events - this sunday the final round of STARL will be carried out in the relatively simple Aston South configuration, signups are still open,so everyone can still join the short track racing action - more info in STARL forum section!
