This tuesday we gonna celebrate the quarter-millenium race of RTFR! As you know RTFR offers very variating tracks for racing, sometimes a bit experimental. This is also something different - a small formula class car on track partially consisting of public roads, but to reduce the dangers,we'll use the "safer" version, that limits the chances of hitting trees to minimum.

Some historic stats:

Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)

The quarter-millenium event was run on a relativelly difficult track, using a not that difficult car though - it still gathered up a total 42 drivers willing to give it a try and be shown on livestream while doing it. The raceway part had some tricky turns, but the real problem for drivers was the support roads part where there was little room for error and bad consequences if any mistakes made - plenty of action was caught on the livestream (Youtube video in the post above).

Probably the least errors was the reason for win - Unite started from 2nd row,but gained lead late on 2nd lap which he never gave up despite attempts from competition to catch him. With this Unite becomes the 7th driver to score the 7th race win in RTFR,additionally he scored his 13th fastest lap of the race and 33rd top5 finish. Concidentally podium consisted only from drivers having 6 racewins before this race - 2nd of them was Gábor, who clocked a time less than a second behind race winner, but still it was not within 25 closest finishes in RTFR history,15th top5 finish for the hungarian Viper Cake. His teammate R.Kardol finished 3rd,which is his 1st finish this year that's not a 2nd place,34th top5 in total for him. Rest of the top5 was taken by drivers not having a racewin yet - Mandula finished 4th despite error earlier in race that demoted him many positions southwards in positions list,18th top5 finish in his achievements list. Gemini scored his 1st ever pole position in RTFR,but could lead only one full lap before making a mistake costing him lead and consequently probably also the win as he had few other incidents, including one with a backmarker that cost him last chances for win - 5th place finish is his 3rd finish in RTFR within best 5.

RTFR XL is next in our schedule - in the upcoming tuesday there will be 1st repeated combo within same RTFR series, full info is already posted in other thread in this same forum. But week after that normal RTFR will return with one of the street legal cars, more info might be heard in the stream of next XL race, but will details as always in the weekend before it.
