Pitting rules:

Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

XRG last time was used in 20th RTFR XL,now exactly 20 events later it returned for it's 2nd event and attracted plenty of drivers,let's see if the trend will continue in 60th RTFR XL. The venue was the sunny Fern Bay with a slightly customized Gold configuration,which includes the path around an island of trees between roads - hence the layout name.

The selector of this combo did not arrive and with that also did not defend his winner's honor,so we had to search for another winner. Smashmolth applied for this job and had a relatively convincing advantage over competition in his 1st race in RTFR XL. He set a new server laptime record in qualifying,led most laps of the race and beat his own lap record on final lap - Smashmolth is now 20th member of RTFR XL winners club (1st new one since july of last year,which is all time longest gap between new winners). Yungtommyb joined this event for the 2nd time and finished a race for the 1st time - 2nd place for him with just under 12 seconds gap to leader,he was the only other driver to lead laps in yesterday's race. 3rd was another driver who attended his 2nd RTFR XL - Mishu,he improved his previous position by 1. Falcon had double the experience in this event - it was his 3rd start,but only 2nd finish - 4th place for him yesterday,one worse than 4 weeks ago. Maciek has completed almost 3 times more races here than top4 together,but also could not improve his best result - still 4th top5 finish for him by finishing 5th yesterday.

* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
With 26 drivers on grid,this race went into RTFR XL history as the 2nd most attended - more attended was only 2nd RTFR XL,which was hosted in at that point recently updated Blackwood (32 attendees). 1st RTFR XL had 1 less in all qualifyers,starters and finishers than in yesterday's event.

* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
After a little break,T.Soini is back in this section - he made a 10.12 seconds pitstop,which was the shortest legal pitstop yesterday.

* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Spiky as a previous winner used his option to start without qualifying,which means he started from last position - 26th. He gained a total of 19 positions between start and finish to finish 7th.

* HONORABLE MENTION :
This time it's worth to mention the effort of latvian simracing community (personally I have no idea which one),which gathered up 7 drivers under LV tag - that number of latvian racers haven't been in RTFR events since very early ages of it,when it opened to international racers. Let's see if the activity persists.

The next RTFR XL will be hosted as usually 4 weeks after this one and combo for that is already decided - it will be the 3rd appearance of the Formula V8,which is currently 4th least popular car in this event with average of 11 drivers through 2 events. The venue is Aston North in reversed direction - this exact track was used in this year's 1st event,but with totally different car - UF1. But already next week the normal RTFR will return with one of the street legal cars. Full info will be posted this weekend,but - that won't be the only announcement from side of Race Green Events this weekend,so stay tuned!

Thanks for honorable mention!
We are from simrace.lv, mainly we race in Assetto corsa. One evening we had nostalgic conversation about good old times in LFS, decided to take part in your event. It's nice to return here, feels like coming home after long journey. In race we all had issues with consistent driving and speed, we didn't practice enough, it takes little bit of time to adapt, next event should be better for us. However, one thing was in our minds after this race, racing culture was quite dirty, or not worse. Some of the guys overtook just by crashing into us, felt like we are in random public server. In the end, it was first LFS event after long time, let's see what future events will bring.
