but is there ANY chance we might get a ghost car type of mode.....only saying this because thats the #1 way I can beat my best times and it's fun as all hell......thank the guy that made that one

also..............is there any way that I could use my nifty shifter with the xfgtr...that would be really fun if I could....but i dont think it's possible

Kegetys made a Ghost car mod a while back. Don't know if it's still compatible though: http://www.kegetys.net/lfs/

and the XFR is sequential only. Don't know if there are mods or scripts out there to change that.

XFR has a sequential gearbox, so you can only shift using the up/down commands, which can be assigned to anything. You can't use an H-shifter though.
