Hi

The control panel doesn't recognise my username anymore, and I'm getting an error when I try go on the 500Servers forum.

www.500servers.com Driver Error

If you are seeing this page, it means there was a problem communicating with our database. Sometimes this error is temporary and will go away when you refresh the page. Sometimes the error will need to be fixed by an administrator before the site will become accessible again.

Also, my server
(Sin'rs too (S2)) is not found on the master server.

Can you help?

Hi Sinanju,

The forum is being upgraded (as is the website) thats why you are getting the forum error.

As for the control panel and servers. can you PM me your Full name and e-mail address so i can track things down.

Regards,
Dean.
Just a quick note, We are having some routing issues to the Control panel at the moment - Will update when there is more information available.
One of our servers appears to have crashed, 81.19.209.206. We are trying to find the cause and get servers back online A.S.A.P

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Regards,
Dean
Hi Guys,

Sorry for not keeping you updated,

The server has suffered a Hard drive failure, It will be going to a data-recovery center tomorrow to recover as much data as possible from it. However it may take upto a week to get that data back.

We will be setting up new servers for the time being so you have servers you can use, And we will get your backed up data as soon as possible.

This is only affecting users on IP: 81.19.209.206

So? Surely you should have 2 mirrored hard drives per server to combat that type of thing...

Seems to be affecting 81.19.209.208 also. Couldn't login to 500servers, tried to turn in a support ticket not sure if it went through as the tc admin panel was acting really weird so I checked this forum and am making a post here. Keep us informed on whats happening, and your servers have overall been good. Wish ya luck on getting it fixed.
The feed to the race .208 is housed in has been restored. Just waiting on the webserver now.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Quick update for you. Specialists have been able to retrieve alot of data from the hard drive and are currently uploading the data to a backup mirror site.

That should be completed by around 3 - 4 PM onwards. Once its available to me i will begin to restore data for users accounts. This may (for some) mean restarting your LFS Server or insim app.

TCAdmin issue at 17:35 UTC -> Can't access file manager bits, and all servers report a status of "Unknown"
Hi Deko,

Are there any other error messages etc popping up? would you be able to take a screenshot for me, Its the 2nd report i have heard about it but i cannot track it down, Servers are all up, From my side control panel is operating normally. If you can grab me a screenshot or at least let me know what the IP is of the services that are not letting you access the file manager so i can try and source whats going on.

Was on the 205. I'm in now but the error was:

Quote :Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>
Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>

</configuration>

ok that helps will be restarting the web service and the control panel server in the next 10 - 15 minutes which should sort that out.
Hi Franky500,
What's wrong with 81.19.209.206?
I tried to see my server (37581) but there aren't any services.
I've read the message about the issues but I don't know how it is going now.
