its not a bug its a feature
the physics engine is fully active in the garage including damage etc

and what .. i killed both rear springs by this little jump ?

It should also have a speedometer and time reading in the garage - then we can have contests using that trick to get cars to move... forget drag races and hotlaps, we got garage sliders now.
