RETRO CUP is back on Race Green Events for its third season!!
Introduced in the summer of 2023, this championship offers intense multi-class endurance racing, featuring some of the most iconic cars of the 70's!
You'll find yourself racing in traffic, trying to survive the dangers of the tracks, modified for the occasion with Retro bales, sponsors and stuff to make it feel more authentic!
4 classes of cars will challenge for the respective titles:

- Group 5
- Road Class

3 new Retro cars in the RETRO CUP this season!
First of all, here comes a new Prototype, the Ferrenzi 62-12.
A beast of a car, that's ready to directly challenge the Mclarry for the top of the championship!
This year, RETRO CUP also introduces a brand new class, the infamous GROUP 5 race cars.
These race cars from the 70's Le Mans are fierce, powerful, scary beasts to handle, and will offer a brand new level of challenge for the drivers who'll pick that class!
The Porshell and the Fend Musting Pro will fight head to head for the class win!
The Wessex74SP will get its stand-alone Prototype 2 class, expecting it to be a fan favourite, and the Road class is confirmed with two classic Retro Cup cars, the Porsche Cammera 730 Turbo and the Piran Firefly 200, always delivering great close races!
The 2025 Race Calendar is composed of 7 races: starting to mid September and finishing in December, this Race Green Championship will carry you through the Autumn and into the Winter in glorious vintage fashion!
From Westhill North RGE Retro, a classic challenge of the Retro Cup, to the streets of the Old Berlin, and finishing it off in a modified version of the Westhill de La Sarthe Retro layout!
All the championship races will be 90 minutes long, while the Season Finale will be a 2 Hours Endurance Race!
Racing on Mondays, be sure to mark the dates on your calendar!

EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF VINTAGE ENDURANCE RACING
This championship is unique and will throw all kind of challenges to the drivers!
The Classic Le Mans Start of the races will provide hectic first laps, with the cars aligned in line next to the S/F straight, ready to go full gas at the Green Light!
The tracks will be unforgiving and spectacular, with custom sponsors all along the courses reflecting the real life Endurance races of the past.
If you're driving one of the top cars, you'll find yourself in the traffic of the slower classes, and you'll need to make your way cleanly through 90 minutes of racing!
If you're driving a slower veichle, you'll need to be alert all the time to avoid dangerous contacts and airplane crashes with the faster Prototypes!
As we've seen in the past, this will create drama all around, and only the consistent, smart drivers will emerge out of the Retro Races in one piece!

SPECIFIC RULES
NO SIGN-UP needed, the events are open!
Server will be PASSWORD PROTECTED 15 minutes before the qualifying ends, to avoid late inexperienced entrants.
Racing rules
- PitStops are not mandatory
The Races are 90 minutes long. Finale is 2 h long
Classic Le Mans start of the race: the grid is set lined and oblique on the S/F.
Rejoin after timing out is allowed, all the race laps actually completed will be added back in result
Rejoin after crashing out the car is allowed, but you have to wait at least 30 seconds before rejoining after you spectated.
If not respected, 30 seconds penalty
Mid race join from people who didn't qualified, is not allowed
Car change between Quali & Race not allowed. If happens, DSQ from results
* YOU CAN change class from one race to another, but obviously it's not ideal if you want to compete for a good position in the standings.
** You MUST race with the car which you qualified. If not,then it's illegal equippment and driver earns serious penalties.
1 minute penalty in the race results for the first offence, disqualification from the event at the second attempt, ban at third.
*** Police configuration is forbidden in the Cammera Porsche.
*YOU CAN race if you did not set a lap in quali only if you did some laps on the tracks earlier on and you don't cause any trouble.
EVENT FORMAT
Event itself consists of a 60 minute qualifying session followed by a 90 minutes long race, so that the dynamics of endurance with the traffic, the strategies can come out in play!
