Oh no he said a bad word.

Tell him to grow up and stop pretending he's actually offended, it just mocks genuine issues of racism.

That actually sounds like quite a fun idea.

Quote from SparkyDave :
IMO its not just the driving experance, more the close racing aspect that makes the online gameplay so adictive.

I couldn't agree more - I remember racing with you in the RB4 around SO a few years ago, that was some of the best racing I had done in LFS.

I think whats most important is the feeling of being in the 'zone' and not being aware of the fact that you're playing a sim, this usally only happens to me when I'm concentrating and battling with others on track.

Quote from hankevans83 :ok i got it sorted now anyways

look the only reason i wanna use tweak is simple!!!!
i want to drive a (SMALL,FAST,FWD,TURBOCHARGED CAR WITHOUT SH*TTY BUDGET TIRES) that is all ..........

What you're after isn't currently available in one complete package - If you wanted to achieve all this and more then you could break out some memory editing tool and start playing with LFS that way. I wont explain how its done because its too long winded and awkward to explain, however if you get a few of the basics down you could easily take old tweaks/slickmods and rehash them to work with the current LFS patch.

So in short, what you want isn't currently available and only a very select few have any of the stuff you desire. No one is holding out on you and no one wants any sort of explanation as to why you want these things, your best bet is to really tackle this all yourself and learn what needs doing - unless you're ok with waiting around hoping that someone might actually release something.

Thats a ghetto wheel you got there, I'm actually quite jealous It looks more realistic then my G25 and its mounted perfectly.

My first wheel was a hacked together PS1 wheel - I simply cut off the plug and soldered a printer plug onto it, but this a different league altogether. Love it!

If you're going to make a new version and go all out with steel - build your own usb controller!

Google MJoy16 and read more on it, its pretty simple stuff but will give you so much!!

Ain't this sweet?

You're in the LFS teenage years, all confused and angry wanting to vent that frustration and let everyone know just HOW UPSET YOU REALLY ARE.

IM SO SO SAD. :sadbanana

Hugs?

Invader,

Could you take some pictures of your wheel/setup - I'm curious to see what it actually looks like and how it functions.

Do you have any drivers installed for the wheel in Windows? I remember when I hacked together my old PS1 wheel to plug into my old printer port it required drivers.

The converter probably just enables you to plug the wheel in but my guess is you still need correct drivers to actually use the thing.

Just started playing a bit of LFS lately and the only thing I can find are BL1 XFG/XRG servers which get dull quickly, and just to get a bit of variety in I've been forced to get stuck in with the likes of cruisers and drifters.

:hide:

These are dark times my friends, let us not forget from where we came!

There is a working Z28 tweak floating about but I don't think it'd be a good idea posting where to find it or even posting it here directly, I don't think it has any sort of check in place to prevent demo users using it.

Ok... Round 2!

Added two selectable options between Mouse 2 (right mouse button) and Mouse wheel (click) - not sure if you wanted mouse wheel scroll included so left it out for now.

Sure no problem, I'll add a few options to enable you to select what you need.

Give me a few hours and I'll have it done.

Its very crude and only 5 minutes work but its functional, let me know if its what you're after and then I can go on and refine it a little.

Note : The idea is only to center the cursor so I'm not 100% sure if its useful - If you're using your mouse as steering input then it'll work.

Hey Corey sorry for the mini ding @ T1, was not really expecting your madskills line and tried to push down T1. Good battle with you though, had the most fun trying to stick with ya.

Wanted to make a protest against Harry Potter (04 car) for our T1 incident that cost me 9 seconds, but I think ill give it a miss, next time just continue on with your regular line and ill try and pass you in a more appropriate place on the track.

Don't bother, its all a pain in the ass anyway

I've decided to give C++ a proper go and see where it takes me and so far I've built one tool and its been frustrating the whole way.

Google for C# tutorials, I'm sure there are like a million and one, also download source and just try and work it out, most of it has loads of comments that explain everything nicely anyway.

Good luck!

I also downloaded the DirectX SDK to try and help me create something that will allow me look behind when I press both of the G25 red buttons, turns out that the input is only picked up when the window is actually active.

Quote from Greenseed :Im not very interested into a such programe... but im interested to see your VB code!

Im hurry you make it OpenSource! if you do...

On this i witch you good luck with your project! see ya!

I have some source for vb.NET and VB6, but I'm not really sure what you're after? Its all pretty easy stuff to do, google some stuff on ReadProcessMemory and WriteProcessMemory and you'll pretty much have what you need.

The only annoying and boring bit is probably digging through LFS finding values that actually do something It gets boring fast...

I love the all M5's this and the E34 are probably my favourite of the lot we just sold ours a few weeks ago (E34 Touring), but Id love to get a test drive in the V10

I don't understand why you say you expected a bit more? Its £60,000 new and its a luxury saloon good for 200mph, I'm not sure what much more you'd need to be honest? Everyone knows they don't build em like they used to and the same can be said for the new M5, but still, its a fast car with good looks (opinion not fact) which will also do pretty well around a track!
