Confused as to why some of you are arguing with the guy who owns this site; his site, his rules. If you don't agree, leave. You won't be missed after a while, anyhow. I wasn't.
Automation - A Car company Tycoon Game.

Quote :
Automation is a Car Company Tycoon game.
Within automation you will take the reigns of a car company and manage it by yourself or with your friends.Starting just after the second world war, the world is rebuilding and they want cars. It will be your job to runa successful car company, competing with either AI or other players towards a variety of different win conditions. To win you will have to design cars from the ground up, designing engines, chassis, suspension and looks to meet various market demands and needs. Produce a large, powerful sedan for the americas, small hatchbacks for the europeans or elitist hypercars for the super rich. These are just a small selection of what you will be able to produce. Will you be able to successfully manage your company through various oil crises, changing consumer demands and ever stricter regulations?
Automation aims to be as technically accurate as possible, designed engines have simulated torque and power curves, emissions and fuel economy values and more. You can design a small efficient supercharged 3 cylinder to a huge, rumbling thirsty naturally aspirated V12. The choice is yours!
Currently we are fairly early in the development, and as we are both working full time at our day jobs, progress is not as quick as it could be, but rest assured, it will come out eventualy and hopefully be enjoyed by you all!

As of right now the demo they will release will be of only a naturally aspirated four cylinder, with forced induction coming shortly after.

Quote from Scawen :
Anyway, it's a new year and I'm back on those tyres trying to get it right and then into LFS, looking forward to some good results that make the cars feel good and stand up reasonably well to some scrutiny by our knowledgeable community members.

If that is the case, some of you should be flattered, not disappointed. I am interpreting the paragraph as him saying he has such respect for the community, that to put out a mediocre product would be an insult to the end users.
And it would be.

Quote from oli17 :what happened, i forget!

Alex finds out the person who killed her parents was actually her father, since he found out his wife was having an affair with his assistant.
And the repeating flashback of her being comforted as a child after watching her parents die was not actually her Godfather, but the ol' Gene Genie himself.

Quote from Zen321 :Very true.
It feels like driving on american roads. Every time you get pulled-up for speeding (1 mile over the highway 55 mph limit yay), they ask for checking your car for marijuana if you're young. If you refuse (which is your constitutionnal right), they threat you to take you to jail and call the canine brigade which will be likely to smell anything but marijuana (they react to fuel...), and you'll have your car opened and taken to jail for no apparent reason.

And here I thought the British were the masters of sarcasm....

According to Lauren Hill, you can be killed softly, also. With his song. Killing me softly, with his...soooooooooooong.

(one time one time)

What if someone could be banned suddenly for making threads for no reason? Hmmm......

I am a "strong Christian" and I am all for gay rights and marriage...I know, I know, I don't fit into some (leftists) templates of stereotypes regarding Christianity. Sorry, you'll have to judge me as an individual.

One cannot say "God hates fags", because God does not. God loves everyone equally, as he sent his only son to Earth for this reason. A gay man or woman is no more a sinner than I am, and I myself cannot use the procreation argument because my wife and I (who is atheist) chose not to have children.

To say "God hates fags" puts a person in the same league as the a-holes who warped the word from the Koran for their own selfish means.

As far as laws concerning gay marriage, that is a toughie for me. Should it be federally mandated? The Libertarian in me says no, because on general principle I feel that the federal government should butt out of these kind of laws, and leave it to the people of individual states to decide; in other words less government interference.

On the other hand, should it be deemed as a universal civil right, like laws passed for women and minorities?

Quote from swisscosmo :i would vote for oboma becuase i think the US needs a change and i think he will do it best.

You're right, Obama will change America allright. We will be more like Canada; overtaxed with poor medical coverage. And after four years of him, America will run like hell to the polls to vote him out.

The only reason why people keep repeating this "hope and change" malarky is because beyond that, he has no substance. None. Why he is appealing now is because he is the polar opposite of the current administration, and I feel my fellow Americans are using emotions instead of critical thought in such an important election.

Traditionally, Americans are centrist thinking, leaning towards being conservative, 60% is the last count in recent memory. Obama is much too radical, like Jimmy Carter. For some who can remember Bill Clinton, he kept two terms because he was for the most part a centrist, and ran his campaigns that way.

Me, I am voting for Bob Barr, which incidentally, utterly terrifies the two majority parties here, because that will be X% that won't go to Democrat or Republican. Some say to me that I am throwing away my vote, but when I discuss with them the philosophies of a Libertarian, they come to realize how much they agree with it: less taxes, less government, stop the war, and ahere to the U.S. Constitution.

I got most of these when I was between 18-22, now I am 33. I also have eh, flames near my daddy parts on my torso, but only Mrs. jayhawk is going to see that.

Don't let my appearance lead you to think I am a B.A.M.F.; quite the opposite. I like to watch birds and take pictures of flowers.

On my right shoulder is a winged panther, on the back of my arm is a Celtic dragon, and on the side is my parents initials.

On my left arm is artwork from the back of a Henry Rollins book, a Pontiac arrowhead, and on the front of both arms the Chinese script says discipline and loneliness.

This has the same engine out of the Golf GTI, right? If so, what is Scawen doing to address the very unique nature of the turbo? And, will this turbo model be a new base for the other turbo vehicles?

If any of you have driven a new GTI, you know just how linear the turbo is on them. No lag, it almost acts like how a supercharger should ideally be.
