when i invite a fellow LFS racer on the forum, in the off topic forum, too, and try to start a discussion about LFS controller setups... Because he has done a pretty elaborate setup with buttons levers and stuff and i was to ask him to show it... And funny thing is i've told him that this is a pleasant forum, to entice him to come...

and i get an infraction that i started a useless, personal, thread, and from BeckyRose comments that we are flirting and double entendre about "wood".

are you dense? have you got any idea what it takes to do tire modelling and tire-surface interaction modelling? as a physicist i have to state that even attempting to do this, on paper, is sheer lunacy

scawen managed to do it. in realtime. the tire modeling alone is a phd thesis on its own. if he doesn't already have a master's or phd in mechanical engineering, he should be awarded an honorary degree already!

i don't know for the others, but i am eager to see what scawen has done.

part of it for scientific curiosity, part of it because i enjoy LFS a LOT (and its community) and i am very excited to see his work

i would be very very happy if he released some kind of paper or presentation on his work.
