Wow.. This is the first time I've visited these forums in about.. 8 months or so. I've returned to find the player vs dev war still raging on, one sided and pointless. Actually destructive if anything. This 3 man team can only work at a certain pace compared to the 100 or so man teams of large developers... They have lives other than just developing this game. At the moment, as Joe just posted (great post btw) they are working on probably one of the hardest updates they have worked on so far. Bashing them for not releasing LFS S3 to poor little me isn't going to make it come any faster, or help them in any way. Go play another game for now, come back occasionally and see how they are doing if you're bored of S2. Support them, encourage them. Wouldn't you be annoyed if you were working your ass off on something awesome, but people were yelling and throwing shit at you because you wont show them it? Grow up.

So, by not locking your differential (which in reality you can do in 5 minutes with a welding torch) that makes it more realistic? Dude.. No one locks there ****ing diff to win a race.. Thats USUALLY for drifting.

Why the hell is everyone so damn hostile on this forum recently? So he posted his PC specs, get over it, there will always be someone with more than you, and someone with less than you. I do agree that eventually LFS needs a bit more content, which it is getting. Everyone just has to calm down, fire up another game for now and wait for the update...

Yeah, its taken me around 3 years to get that good. Main reason being I started with a mouse, then had to relearn everything when I got a wheel.
Takes ALOT of practice to get good.

Looks very good so far! Cant wait for the Megapack. What else will be in the Megapack?

I agree with post #1 and #3, LFS is a great game. But it does lack content understandably. There is ALOT of talent out there that could really bring people back to the game, and probably bring alot of new players too. Even though its not likely it will happen, if this does, just have mods restricted to people with S2. $$$$$

Good post, I have been around LFS for a long time, I really miss the good old days of firing up LFS and seeing decently populated servers, always being able to find a race of some kind. Now its rare. Its all cruise, even drifting is dwindling away compared to say... a year ago. Hopefully the Scirocco will bring some people back. Also, I really hope there is more to this patch than just the Scirocco, although it is nice, its still some what dissapointing that in over a year all they could add for content was a single car.

Great to hear your settled down and ready to get back to work! My ISP is the exact same way. Dont care about their customers at all. Good luck with the Scirocco, Cant wait to try it out!

Well, I dont know if they would add cop cars etc. The most I can see them doing is possibly making a open version of the tracks, like all the varients combined sorta thing. If that even. Still +1
