i do the same thing. i push the car/setup too hard and get the corners all wrong. usually down to me breaking too late or oversteering and over-correcting.then i just get mad and quit before i break stuff. other times im just in the mood to race, and pull of some quick laps and flawless driving. its just practice, which can get frustrating.
nothing will be noticable, of that i can guarantee you. sb live value is a pretty naff card anyway.
i dont see whats the problem in simply having just the vote kick option for the normal server punters. this is the only game where public players can ban people, and the other method has worked fine for many years and should remain as it is imo. not only that it will keep admins busy and active.
is yours a custom built pc or pre-assembled? seems it doesn't like working on custom builts (since the pcs i talk of for examples are all custom built). is there some kind of driver you need for it or something?
the front panel works on mine to an extent, but complex devices like mp3 players (ipod, zen touch etc, not the shitty ones), interface devices, and mobiles dont work properly. they either dont get detected properly by windows or they do get detected but just dont work.
things like pendrives, mice, keybs, even my wireless lan adapter work on the front panel. and i know theres nothing dodgy about the wiring.

is the USB front panel? front panel seems to have problems with everything in my experience. i dont think i've come across a computer that has fully working front panel USB.
my point about schumacher was clearly taken the wrong way. i said he was one of the best, but i guess what i was trying to get at was that he's lost a lot of his drive and motivation or seems to have. either that or the car really is that bad this year, but i cant see that being the main reason.
with regard to jenson, he has the pace and the hunger for victory. he just hasnt had the car to do it yet. what with BAR penalised early season 2005 and having reliability issues etc in previous years, its no wonder he hasnt won a race yet. 2004 was probably his best, when he was on the podium quite regularly. i hope honda give him the team and reliability he needs.
anyway, i woulda said mansell was better than MS :P

hehe. me and me mate mess around with the colliosion bug sometimes... just cruise into him at like 10mph and my car goes about 100ft in the air whilst doing some aerobatic barrel rolls and flips.
it would definately add more variation to the game. i didnt think about how it would affect the cars handling, which i can see being a little harder. i dont think the graphics engine would need much of an overhaul. just some additions, like rain drops, windscreen splashes and reflective road surfaces for when its wet. oh and working window wipers in cockpit view and 3rd person view!

i used to run lfs on a 5500 before i got my x800. It ran like a dream, so im sure his 5700 will handle it no problem.

Ghost Car isn't patented per say, only the name. Call it something else and all will be well. I don't see it fair that someone can patent or copyright a feature in a game in such a way that it means you have to pay some greedy **** to use it.
I wouldn't say its an installation problem, just maybe something wrong with the drivers or a windows configuration problem. I'd also recommend going back to your original RAM and seeing if the problem persists. If it does, you then know the fault lies in the software. Just do what you can to rule everything out, one by one and eventually you'll find what it is. Sometimes it can be a long process!
Also, is the RAM running in dual channel or single channel? It'd be best in dual obviously, but that can cause problems sometimes.
Try removing a stick of RAM first, then try re-installation of latest chipset and graphics drivers.

MS aint that good a driver in comparison to others (like Kimi) to be fair. It's was his car, and always has been - which was pretty evident this season from ferarri's piss poor performance.
Not that I'm saying hes bad, cos hes definately one of the best, but I wouldnt say miles above the rest like most people seem to think.

i dont even look at that market anymore, and im not entirely sure why i posted here. i would ultimately reccomend saving more money and buying a new motherboard etc.
