In the beginnen first to participate with a team on your servers.
We stil have our own server online but we don't have the time to organize own races..

So let us know If you need some races to add to your competitions.

As LFS is almost dead. and number of racers joining the leagues in decreasing, we stopped organing races for the moment.
But we are ready to race on other leagues meanwhile.
Would be nice if it is around 20.00 CET on Sunday evening.

Any nice leagues left out there?

As 2014 is counting away we look forward to have a lot of nice races in 2015.

We have some dominance in the championship but that does not mean they are unbeatable !!

But first we are still in a winter break waiting for everybody to have some very good diners with family and friends. So a happy new year to all of you out there !!

I'm sure 2015 brings happiness to you and to the whole family !

Season 12 stops for a few weeks so the youngest drivers can concentrate on there studies before the Winter holidays start.

And for us older bones, we can drink and eat all we can without worrying about driving drunk behind the wheel
So just like the Summer events .. we have again the Winter Events.
These are open races.. Everybody is welcome as long as they respect the rules and drive clean.

So If you're a pro or just a beginner .. join these races.

It is the best way to learn how we race at liveforspeed.be

This is an international league so racers from all over the globe can participate.

We start at 20.30 CET.
To be sure you be there on time, check the clock on the front page of our website.
It always gives you the CET time.

Hi thx for the quick replay ! .. But I don't understand a lot of what your saying
I can say we do not run races of more then 1000 laps
Normally we race around 50 laps max.

Hi ,

in our league we also use a safety car procedure.
It brings back the action and keeps the number of racers in the race higher as racers do not quit after they got stuck and reset is not allowed.

But there is no use to call for a Safety Car 2 laps before the end of the race..
And sometimes even I am some laps down and have no idea what lap the leaders are in when someone calls for the safety car.

Is there a tool/method I can use to display the number of laps the leader is in?
I have now Ario and racedirector running on the server.

We had only one incident in the first race nice nice !!

5:35:40: Hanziboy loses it, go off track, knuckles hits him on the back when I gets back on track, LFS-xtian hits knuckles in the back , J.A.Katila hits Xtian in the back ... Veijalainen hits xtain in the side; Knuckle loses 3 positions.. Cascading Race incident.

Race 02- 35 Laps

3:09:45 [WCL] J.A.Kalita misses the last chicane and stops sideways across the track. Chain reaction ensue. Safety car has to be called out.
Harabla enters pits after [WCL] J.A.Kalita called for safety car but before the big red message was displayed.
He waits at the end of the pit lane but after asking if he can exit pits, he gets a positive response.
As Harabla was already inside the pit entry lines before the SC was called there was no problem.
Be aware the SC procedure starts as soon it is called for from the car in trouble and the pit is closed then for guys not already in the pit entry lines.

8:14:42 Xtian-LFS.be tries to take the inside on 13-Veijalainen but Veijalainen closes the door, car touch, Xtian spins, they both lose one position. Race incident

12:58:30 13-Veijalainen hits the guardrail and slows down, [WCL] J.A.Kalita crashes into him. race incident.

22:46:60 Jancis hits the guardrail and spins, Hanziboy cannot avoid him. race incident.

43:47:65, another guardrail situation as Hanziboy hit and spin in front of Xtian who cannot avoid collision.

Two weeks ago we had the 4th race.. With the FXO on the Fern Bay track.

We knew already that the J.Katila was fast but it seems nothing can't stop his fast way of driving.
Also this time, speed was his second nature as he dominated this race once more.

The third race of this season was held on the same track with the tricky front wheel drive FXO.
[WCL] J.Katila comfirmed another pole position with an impressive time of 0:51:67
The session brought no incident except for a redundant connexion issue for Ernest and the come back of bruised SLO-Knukles. Welcome back !

Last Sunday saw the first race of our new season 12, based this year on touring cars only, with the nibble XFG front wheel car on the twisty track of Aston Cadet as the hors d'oeuvre. We were glad to welcome some of our regular contestants but also a couple of new comers who made this race very competitive. We also took the opportunity to welcome Salatoimic as our new working admin, following the health issues that Slo-Scatter had to face this summer. We send to Slo-Scatter all our wishes for a fast and complete recovery. Same wishes go to Slo-Knukkle who had a severe motorcycle accident this summer and who will not be able to join us this season too. Get better guys !
This also means that this year, we will have to rely more on your comments and complains rather than the full comprehensive reviews that Scatters used to do. If you have any complains regarding the race, please email them to admin@liveforspeed.be within the next 48h after the race.

So we are proud to announce the 12th season of the international Liveforspeed.be league !!!

So we are very proud we could keep it up this long. But there are reasons for that..
And this is because we do have a good reputation of clean races.. No fooling around, as those racers are banned on the spot !
We also have our Safety Car procedure to keep a high number of racers on track and to bring back the action.

So we're back to start a new season and this time we to leave the one seaters for one season and concentrate on the more touring car liked cars.

As always we try not to change to much between the races so you can grow into a car or track.

We have 2 breaks during the season.. during the winter and Easter holiday so every student can prepare for the exams and can celebrate with the family afterwards.

During the break we will have some open races on Sunday where everybody is allowed.

All races are held in private sessions. So Subscription is needed !!!!

2013 left us .. 2014 entered.. And all the way to large meals have added some weight....
Gladly this will not make us slower on track !!
And so we were ready to restart season 11. We did it with the FBM on the Aston track3 track. Juanjo made a good impression on his 2nd race !

starts sliding. Hanziboy recovers, but mysteriously hits an invisible tire
bundle which flips his car. Luckily, Hanziboy lands on his wheels and is
able to continue... racing incident

1:26.81 - Juanjo divebombs into turn 2 and hits Fridorik in the side which
pushes Fridorik over. Fridorik loses 2 positions, but Juanjo slows to allow
Fridorik to pass him... no penalty

The LX4 or Catherham in Real ive.. A highly overpowered rear wheel driven car.
This and a very technical track, difficult corners and steep hill up.. A very nice combo if you ask me. Finding the edge on grip and flying.
Some of them on the field were doing both.. Flying ans still have just the amount of grip not to lose it and stay on the track.
Fastest racer around was Ernest. but again his bad connection gave the victory to Vule.
Apart from some little unwilling mistakes, we had a pretty clean race, with only 1 penalty to be given.. well done!

South City .. the Monaco of LFS.. That with an aggressive front wheeler always results in nice race races.
A care that can take a hit.. also results in close contact racing.. sometimes to much to.
To much as in unsporting to.. And that is a shame of course. If guys only think about them self while destroying the race from others..
Some will be watched very close during the next races .

But Ernest was king of the track this time!!! Gratz to a deserved victory !

We have had the second race of the season. A dangerous combo on flip overs and watch the world up side down.... The XFR on FE2. Avoiding the curbs and keep right front out of the red zone was the main thing to do.
Being fast is one thing .. keeping it on track mostly had a better results !

Last night we had the practice session for our 2nd race of the season.

THe XFR on FE2... And as thought we did see some flip overs during that race.
The combo just asks for this .. high curbs and an easy to flip car..

But luckily we had the safety car procedure to keep the cars on track, and also bring back the action...

Bringing back the action?? correct.. as some drivers were made from another kind of human and drove of like hell.
The safety car brought those fast drivers back to restart some nice fights.

If we learned something then it is practicing is at hand to find a fast way to drive without flipping it and without burning the right front.

Cya on track this week to practice !!

Finally we could start our new season !!! Racers do only want to do only one thing ..Racing.
We first had some server problems when we've started the qualify sessions but luckily we do have 2 servers so in a mater of minutes we were back "on track" on the second server liveforspeed.be2
We drove the frontwheel driven FXO on the Fernbay Green circuit. And we had 2 nice close racing races with not to many incidents.

OK .. I'm glad to read so much reaction.. This only means one thing ...
Your all still here because you more or less care about LFS.

What I don't like is the manner that you guys talk to each other. I still believe in having your own opinion !!!! So please let's have an adult conversation about this without blaming each other on how things to be done.

If some leagues only love GTR then that is there full right..

I can only say we've started a new season. 11th already !!!!.
We were with 14 racers last night..
It started bad as the first server ( liveforspeed.be1) crashed completely ...
So we've switched to our second server liveforspeed.be2.. I was wondering, with indeed only 14 racers, why the hell we needed 2 servers.. But on such situations you know why of course.

How do we try to attract as many racers as we can ??
SECURE clean racing as much as possible with just enough rules and fair play.
Using a safety car procedure where we bring back action and keep racers in the game..

But indeed 14 is not a lot but I must say most of them race with us for years now.. So I guess we're not doing a bad job..

And also for 14 racers it is a lot to invest in money and time as we do now have 2 full servers 24/7 online, pay for the website hosting and keep this all up to date, writing newsletters, review every race, write race reports, creating lot's of graphical designs..etc...
We also have a nice reward for the season winner. A special autograph from Toro Rosso and next year Redbull driver Daniel Ricciardo

But we do loving it !!! But this does not take away that we want to know if there is even a future for LFS development !!!!

So are there guys here that are in contact with the programmers ?? I there an event we can organize to sound an alarm bell to those guys ???

So please help each other instead of all those negative reactions..
So please ONLY react if you got some positive ideas.. And be quiet if you just want to lose some frustration !! It always easy to blame another, be above that and help us on good ideas !!! THANK YOU !!!
