I've never been able to attend any of these events and have always been jealous of those who did!

If it is during a weekend i would definitely be interested!

Currently studying Aeronautical Engineering at University. My part time job is as a Knowhow colleague at Currys. I started off as sales and within 4 days I was known as the computer expert. They may know how to sell but know nothing about the products they are selling...

So! I've had my wheel for god knows how many years now and its all been working perfectly. Then last night i plugged it in and many issues have suddenly come about. The pedals are not being registered (sometimes one pedal works), all the buttons on the shifter have stopped working but the shifter works fine, and the ffb is having some problems, when calibrating it sticks to the end of rotation for a few seconds and when it centred it wobbles from side to side a lot more, almost as if one of the motors has dies?

I'm looking for any advice towards solving some if not all these issues,

many thanks in advance,
Jack.

If it is a drive through penalty, then on a later lap you must drive through the pit lane. If it is a stop and go penalty, then do the same but stop in one of the pit boxes

I'd spend the bit extra and go the Intel route.

Quote from Bmxtwins :card works, but the HDMI port is too small for my HDMI chords, its like MSI didn't make the port considering that some plugs may have a thicker medal layer. Luckily came with a VGA adapter.

Broke the lock off my PCI E slot lol... hopefully it don't wiggle loose. Will share my experiences when I get drivers set

sure its hdmi and not a display port?

Quote from Bmxtwins :How do i know if i need to plug it into a pci ex x 16 or just pci express slot.

Are they different looking? Does it matter? I think my mb has 1 of each (unless that thing in specs means they are all compatible)

Quote from jnr89 :hey, I just saw this and I guess its some related to the turbo boost but I dont know if this part is stock or what? from what it seems to be a buick regal gnx from the movie "born to race"

check the attached file to see the image.

the guy just pressed some switch and that valve opened slowly

btw that movie is so much into racing, way more than the fnf

sorry for my bad english

Just a guess but it could be a muffler bypass valve?

Quote from pitu :Hello there! Just bought a new laptop - asus s400ca with i3 and intel HD Graphics 4000. Seems to be powerful enough to have 60+ fps in lfs with max setting, but in some reason, I have only around 30 fps. It has 1.8ghz and 2-quad cores, so why it's working so bad with Windows 8? I finished all the programs, so only lfs is running. No idea, why so slow. Maybe you can help me? And I tried to update videocard drivers. I installed new driver from 22th of march of this year, but lfs even did not started

P.S. Buy windows 8 they said, it will be faster they said

LFS only uses one core, so its really only 1.8ghz

Quote from Bose321 :Possible speedhack? Sorry I can't help you, but this sounds somewhat hilarious.

All I could do is find another person with that problem you have (also an AMD CPU), but no solution was find. I did read something about BIOS failing, but I doubt that...

Yeah, not gonna try multiplayer XD I can't find anything on it either

EDIT: I've also changed from 16x240 to 19x200, that hasnt solved the problem

So, I installed windows 8 and overclocked my system. In task manager my cpu speed is at 3.18ghz (standard speed), but in cpuz it shows as 3.85ghz which is what i have it at now. The system clock has also sped up with the overclock so now it is traveling into the future (seconds are shorter). Any suggestions on what to do? It also affects games, in LFS the timer is fast and the cars are much quicker.

thanks,
Jack.

System specs:
AMD 1090t @ 3.85ghz 16x240
8gb ocz platinum
asus crosshair IV formula
5770 1gb
