Another our stupid distraction cost us a DT, and during the last two hours we had engine problems, it wasn't easy. Congratulations to everybody, it was a good race, our strategy was very different, it seemed that we were doing another race, but gave a good result. See you next race

Maybe there was a misunderstanding on IRC. We do not seek excuses to go unpunished for an eventual accident or to have other cars moved out of line. :wtf2:
Simply we report what the driver sees on the track, with the purpose of avoiding accidents due to lag.

From IRC:

[19:16] <M5S-Team> #62 heavy lag
[19:16] <LLMMatt> not registering any here
[19:16] <@hyntty> neither here
[19:16] <LLMMatt> you guys seem to be tho
[19:16] <LLMMatt> judging by that runoff on remote
[19:17] <LLMMatt> remember your GT1 your responsibility to overtake cleanly
[19:17] <LLMMatt> we aren't going to just move off the line because you divebomb us
[19:17] <@Bean0> blue flag = prepare for impact
[19:17] <@Bean0> oh wait, thats crashgame
[19:17] <LLMMatt> ye
[19:19] <M5S-Team> I just did a report
[19:19] <LLMMatt> yea NP thanks for letting us know that you are lagging

Despite the problems early in the race we were able to do well. Gratz for all who finished the race. Thank you all and gratz to organizators, I know that's not an easy work

Hello, I have a doubt:

in rule book are not specified which are the parts of the track considered race path. I remember this rule from another champ:

The “racing surface” is defined as all areas that are asphalt, concrete
(including green sections), or curbing. Raised, perpendicular “speed bump”
curbing is not included.

Is the same? Thanks

Quote from Eclipsed :Yesterday had similar surprise about new version and LFSStats crashing, changed one setting in cfg and works now like it used to:

# TCP mode.
# true if you want to use TCP
# false if tou want to use UDP
TCPmode = false

Seems like it did not work for me in TCP mode, check if you have same thing!

In UDP mode it works well. Thx

Hello, as usual, today I made the statistics for a qualification and I got this message. After a few seconds LFSstats closes by itself. With earlier versions of LFS I had no problems. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

I found a question like mine, now I read http://www.lfsforum.net/showthread.php?p=1758174#post1758174

Quote from Eclipsed :Call me a troll/moaner/whatever,but can't see anything smart from stealing Subaru Tecnica International logo... Unless they really sponsor you, which I somehow doubt... So be smart,be original! Good luck!

In fact, it is not our sponsors, they should pay us for this, however we do it for free. Your observation is not nice, then I will tell you that as long as the head of the Subaru do not prohibit me, I will continue to do so.

For the future I will design a new logo, for now this is good

Quote from Peña Racing :I understand that it was so, but honestly, this is not right, because some teams can do it and pull the cable from the router and timeout. I hope this does not happen.

Yes, you are right, but if you watch lap times of Vincper, you understand that he was our fastest driver. Do you really think that we have renounced him run? He had a great pace, we are the only penalized team for this. Ok, if we receive a penalty is not a problem, but wasn't intentional, was only for safety.

@IMOL your only fault was the insults after race, I think it would be better if you would spend a little of your time to review replays of races before insult for free.

@Ivanov I read a lot of stupid protest, but it is a right of drivers. Most of the time are made to draw the attention of the admin for an evaluation, our point of view is different, but nothing personal

Quote from vourliotis :I really i have not idea why he didnt race. Maybe they didnt read the rules. I remember from rules that the driver who did the quals must do at least one lap, isnt?.
I am talking about PlayerZone.

Unfortunately our Qualifying driver vincper suffered from very bad lag issues on the server that night, this is why he could not race.
In fact, he did join the server to take over the car, however he suffered from a time-out even before exiting the pitlane.

We believe we've already been punished enough by this time-out, and hope you understand that we decided not to run vincper, as this most probably wouldn't have ended well for both us or any of the other cars on track.
