Love the car!

I really enjoyed this car when it had the more stock looking dash and 500bhp. The extra power is nice, and makes sense since it's "tuned", but the original dash with the boost gauge needs to come back! Big grin

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :A saloon Fiesta? You Americans are a bloody weird bunch.

Haha yeah, she picked it out. I suggested the hatchback, but she liked the sedan. She's mentioned a few times since that she's wished she went for the hatch.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :Well, if LFS is supposed to simulate cars, cars have different gearboxes that function differently and LFS actually simulates these correctly unlike.. every other sim out there.

The FBM has a weird sequential gearbox that doesn't require clutching to shift up, you just haffto lift the throttle and the next gear will engage. All the road cars logically have H-Pattern gearboxes. The MRT5 has a motorcycle gearbox (like the real car) and requires you to downshift from neutral into 1st (and no reverse gear).

I don't really understand why you guys are advocating Scawen make LFS less realistic to how the cars are designed (even fictional cars have designs). They made the FXR and XRR be sequential by design. The FZR is not sequential.

The style of car that the GTR's are could feasibly have an H pattern box. Hell, NASCAR does...

Quote from pärtan :I agree that the F1's should be forced sequential gearboxes. But cars like the XRR and XFR are cars that I'd probably prefer with an H-box. I end up prefering FZR and UFR over them just because of the gearbox pattern.

Agreed!

Besides, if he made the FZR have only an H to make it slower, then what is the harm in allowing H in all the GTR cars? It's only going to make me slower, right? I'm just fine with that.

I'd rather have the option in all of the GTR cars to have an H-Box. I'm not a fan of the flappy paddle gearbox. I like a good old clutch and shifter.

I check in once a week or so to see if there is finally an update that interests me, or a tweak that actually works, so I can mess around.

Looks like you made it dirty.

Oh yeah, and your brakes are swollen.

I bought a 2012 Ford Fiesta for the lady, to go along with the Honda Fit I've got. Next is a motorcycle to replace my scooter.

Haha! You guys are a riot!

I'd like to drop it about an inch, but I think I'd rather get a nice set of coilovers instead of springs. I had springs on the Mustang, and I wasn't 100% satisfied.

I bought the Fit for the utility. I was sick of having to borrow a vehicle to move anything larger than a beverage cooler.

Quote from Jakg :If he lives in the UK (which is where the picture was taken), it would be ridiculous - I'm 18 with a years NCB and Pass Plus and pay £1,150 for the p-wagon. An Evo would literally be triple that if you could even get a quote.

This is of course if he is 18 - his posts don't suggest it.

I don't see how you can get that the picture was taken in the UK from a photo that small. Looks like a US License plate on the car, however.

Quote from Bawbag :And even lawn mower engines at that are far too god damn much to insure.

At 18 you'll be struggling to find an insurance company who would actually insure you on an evo, nevermind one that could be affordable. Btw, if it actually was his car and he could actually afford all the money he would have to shell out on insurance (What, 5-10k?) Then he woulda baught the car outright, instead of getting it banged up for a "few grand".

Depending on where he is, insurance may not be bad. Buying an EVO would have made my insurance less than what my insurance was on my Civic Si.
