I'm a "Football" fan, but this inter-language crap really confuses the hell out of me sometimes...I open the thread and think "Oh a football match, that's cool." Then keep reading and see the score is 2-0...then someone says they are getting battered? Thennnnnnnn it hit me. Ah. I feel like an idiot.

Dither is supposed to be on/off when it's 16 bit and the opposite when it's in 32 bit...so really changing dither is all you need to do.

I used to have a P4 on the same computer as you, 5-6 years old...my processor was 1.8 ghz...But I just upgraded to a 6600GT vieo card, and an Athlon 3200 @ 2 ghz...and it's probably 3 times as better...
My lfs frames went from 60 FPS at the lowest settings to 60 FPS with full settings, 4x AA and 8X AF, but I run it fine without ANY lag ever at 8x AA and 16X AF
