Please fix the licensing for mods. Currently, some mods licensed under permissive licenses such as CC-BY have "Derivatives are allowed" field set to "no", even though this is contradictory to the licenses. Also, some licenses are missing and therefore people have to pick licenses which do not meet the license of source.

ktinsim is an InSim library written in Kotlin, JVM-compatible programming language. The library supports TCP and TCP+UDP connections. Besides basic functionality of sending and receiving InSim packets, ktinsim provides some functions to make InSim application development easier.

That's what you see. In fact, letter Z was used alongside other letters (O, V, X) to mark parts of Russian army depending on where they come from. It has nothing to do with any nazi symbol, it doesn't even look similar to wolf's hook which slightly modified version was used by Azov. The same rhetorics could be used to say that letter O and black sun is the same thing. The only thing I can agree with is that one shouldn't bring children into this.

It can be an argument, because there is no state in modern world which could be compared to Ukraine in terms of nazi involvement in army and state policy. Thank you very much! Your advice is very helpful. I didn't model wipers yet, gaps are done with Ctrl+B. The thing that puzzled me is why bevel modifier didn't work for some edges. The answer is bad topology: when there are more than two faces sharing the same edge, the modifier doesn't work.

When being in majority of westerners became an argument? To know what Putin actually says, you'd need to get a full and proper translation, which western media is not able or doesn't want to provide sometimes. To know what Russians think, you should have known Russian and find real people outside of western social media. The real thing is that some people outside of Russia (and in this thread) couldn't care less about the war this war is about to end. Is that war justified in your eyes? Would you wish it to continue?

It's not the same thing. Chechnya was run by terrorists, who committed terror acts in Russia, as well as drug and human trafficking. Donbass, on the other hand, was trying to escape the neo-nazi aggression.

Answering the propaganda claims: I don't watch Russian TV in general for years, and read Western media besides Russian. I make my own conclusions as the result, they just happen to be the way they are and you may not agree to that, but that's my opinion and not someone's else.

You are trying to play the "you're bad so they're not" card. It doesn't work like that. I'm not a supporter of Putin, but in that exact case he is not wrong. It has nothing to do with Putin ambitions, but with safety of our country and Donbass, with overthrow of neonazi supportive government. I think that this military operation would occur even if someone else was in power, it was just a matter of when and how that happens.

Saying that Ukrainian government wants peace and tranquility is a bad joke. They definitely wanted it when they ignored Minsk agreements and killed civilians on the east.

Protesters is another topic. Majority of them couldn't care less about peace, they didn't call for action against 2014 coup and its results. What they care about is ruble conversion rates, possibility to visit foreign countries and to buy foreign goods.

I think that the military operation of our army is justified by the multiple factors. One of them is NATO expansion, but the real reason which created this situation is a coup d'etat which led to neo-nazi forces gaining power in Ukraine. This action led to oppression of Russian minorities, therefore Crimea and Donbass had to ask Russia for defense, because a lot of Russians living there. Crimea left the country, but Donbass wasn't lucky in this regard. The illegitimate government started a non-ending conflict which led to more than 13 000 deaths since 2014.

I see that a lot of people are misinformed on this subject. They imagine the current operation as a massacre with massive civilian killings, when in reality it is nothing but an attempt to get rid of war criminals and destroy military infrastructure and lethal weapons supplied by US, Canada, Turkey, etc, in order to deescalate the tensions, especially in Donbass region.

Such usage may fall under fair use doctrine. The material (model in this case) was copied for one-time use (creation of render). The resulting work is not being sold or used for commercial means (e.g. advertisement), and the effect of usage is rather minimal.

I bet Snowrunner received a permission from copyright owner to let its users modify their models solely for the purpose of creating mods. That is not the case of LFS.

The fair use doctrine should be addressed again to explain this. First of all, the usage of skin is not related to commercial purposes. You may not agree with me because one has to pay for license/skin slots to upload the skins, but in order to download/view the skins either in game or forums one doesn't have to pay anything. The effect of such usage is minimal as well. The logotypes are indeed copyrighted works, but the skin itself is not part of the game, it's user content, just like forum avatars, therefore the responsibility of usage lies not on LFS developers, but on user itself. Obviously, if a company approaches LFS and asks them to remove the content, they have to do so.

You may ask me: how does LFS mods system differs from this case? Here is the answer: LFS mods system is centralized and paid. When you submit the mod and it is approved, it becomes part of game's content. The usage of such content has clear commercial purpose: you can't use it without the license. Content is being used for unlimited times and the effect of usage is bigger, because LFS gains profit from using these models via S3 sales and that may be considered as loss of profit for copyright owner. You can't copy someone's model and reuse it without permission in this case, even if you copy from LFS itself.

I did more changes a while ago, but didn't upload for some time. I made the front grill, improved mirrors, door handles, added seats, gearbox lever and basic work on other parts of interior. The geometry of the model was improved in some places, but it's still far from perfection. Here is the current progress:

I like the idea, but there are some issues in implementation. The main one is that loading of results blocks UI thread and makes the page unresponsive. You should move it to separate thread. Also, it seems like it tries to load all mods at once, but there is no need to do it. You can either show N results per page or load N results and populate the list with more items as the user scrolls the page. The buttons at the top are somewhat misleading. Button edges are not visible in fact, because the button label is not part of button and is not clickable. The mod link button is not transparent and covers part of bike image (cuts the front wheel) on phone screen. This is not visible for cars, because the relative height of car is smaller. You should also provide CSS styles for buttons on hover action, because some people may want to use your site on PC/tablet with mouse. The other good cosmetic change would be adding a small left margin to image. And the last issue is that the page tries to open popup window to show this thread on message button click while it should just open it in new tab.

I have a question related to attachments. How do I stick them to the post? I was searching the forums and found that the attachments can be added with "Manage attachments" button, but I don't have it in full post editor.

I would recommend to take a look at setup editor as well. It is possible to get more grip and to make car less oversteer by changing camber, tire pressure and suspension values. Of course, some changes may be a compromise. E.g. lowering the tire pressure will result in more grip, but also will make tires to heat and wear out faster. Also, some people change button reaction value in settings. This preference can make a throttle/brake gain/lose slower, resulting in smoother change.
