Quote from Töki (HUN) :College students over here can hardly afford an E36 either. Most of them are happy if they can get along without student loan (those who are not supported by parents). But yeah this is crappy Hungary, comparing it to western countries makes no sense.

lol, in crappy Latvia college students drives X5, etc

Maybe any lfsf estonians went to the NEZdrift Pärnu event at auto24ring last weekend?
Went there with some e36 owners, did a little exhibition of our cars in technical park area, right next to lowlifer.ee stand (estonian equivalent of stanceworks)

Quote from nikopdr :85 euros? Just accept it any pay it. I got fined 120€ for 62@40 zone last september, with 0€ income as I was a student.
I drive at the speed limit as well nowadays. I've kind of just learnt stuff from my mistakes that can be avoided easily.

I'm more worried about the fact that they won't take bribes than about the amount of money. 85eur + 2 penalty points. You get 10 or 12 penalty points and your license is revoked for 6 months or so.

Good ol' days, when you gave them 50eur bribe for 120 in 50 zone, and everything was ok...

RIP Georgi

In other news - latvian cops are fa***ts I don't know why, but they doesn't take bribes anymore... Got my first official speeding ticket in 4 years time - 85eur for 91 in 50 zone

There are some, but most of them are living in small countryside villages, their families live in this country 50+ years. Situation with them isn't the same as in other countries, where they go straight from Romania, build up their trailer-camps and start doing illegal things, etc.
I actually can't remember when I saw a gypsy - maybe 2-3 months ago.

I'm grateful that my country is that poor (on paper), so we don't need to deal with all this lazy-only-social-benefits-seeking-immigrants bulls*it which leads to all these things what happens in UK, France, Sweden (riots in Stockholm atm, if we want to be precise), etc.
Also, government here are strongly against multiculturalism policy (even if they could afford pay social benefits), same sex marriage and other idiotic western-liberalism things.

Quote from -NightFly- : I dunno why, because estonian numberplate perhaps? Easy targets?

You should ask for official ticket next time, they will write it out for you. But you don't need to pay it to them, foreigners can throw it away, because there isn't one/united driving offence database in Baltics.
I probably have 20-30 speed camera fines from Estonia, over the years, haven't received any of those by the mail.

Quote from -NightFly- :I'm not living on the mostly part of the eastern europe then , pretty easy to get licence banned over here also speed cameras are woking as they are meant to be...
what the hell is the point of the camera if it doesn't count ?

He was talking about these youtube videos as a evidence...
You could put tons of those street drift videos up on youtube or somewhere else, where your face and cars numberplate is visible and police can't do anything about it..
You, probably, could even shoot a video where driver is going 100+ km/h in the city, without seatbelt, drinking vodka from bottle (and other stupid things you can possibly imagine) and showing his drivers license with all his personal data in the video... and police still couldn't do anything, because that wouldn't be an official police video which was filmed by police equipment or smth like that
