Quote from garph :Do you use wifi to connect? Shouldn't really effect single player but if the computer is on the limit of what it can do then maybe it could be the wifi searching for networks every few mins.

no i'm connected with cable from the router.

i tried to run it from the C: partition, but it's the same.

i downloaded it from the http://liveforspeed.com, so it's the original version.

i'm running it from the D: partition on the HDD, and now i'm gonna try to run it from the C: where is the OS, and i'm not sure it should help, but i give it a try

waiting for other possible solutions.

i checked the system clock with the stopper on the phone, and it was correct.

then, i switched off programs like antivirus, and everything other possible, and it was still there.

so i managed, to format the whole HDD and install a brand new OS WinXP with integrated SP3.

after the install about a week ago, the game was running correct.
but yesterday it came back, and it seeks every 2min for few ms.
i tried system restore and set 2days before, and the seeking is still there.

so now i don't know what's happening.
btw it wont be the VGA, because when i play in normal mode (when you see the whole car) the FPS is about 15-30FPS on the BL GP track and the seeking is happening, and when i play after pressing the F button (when you can't see the graphics of the car, just the wheels and the pressures and etc.) there is +10FPS in average, but the same seeking is there.

so.......
Seeking every 2-3min

Hello,

i've an interesting problem, no matter that i'm playing single or multi, the game is freezing-seeking every 2min for 1-2sec. I have no clue why is it, but the technicla spec of my book is not the best.

tech specs :
IBM R52 Notebook
1.7GHz IntelCPU
1GB RAM
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator
40GB HDD
full spec here : http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-58833.html
it's an oldie but a goodie

i'm using Windows XP SP2

So i've tried to reinstall graphic driver, to turn off the NOD32, reinstalling the game, and nothing helped, but i want to deal with this problem and get out of it.
i hope i will not have to install a new copy of windows.

thanks
