Don't want to be "that guy" but my favourite track is actually old Westhill, mainly due to a lot of memories of that place such as my first league start etc.

Since it's gone (sad face) I'll go with Aston because of AS4/5.

Team Vires sign first Russian driver

Team Vires have signed a first Russian driver in their 5 year history. We are delighted to announce Vitaly Minnahmetov, also known as 'Vitaly_M', has joined the ranks after a period of time with our good friends Corse Motorsports. Vitaly has been driving with Vires since the start of summer and is well known to the team already, having contesting in and contributing to Vires' 1-2 in CityLiga's 10 Hours of Westhill International event.

Welcome Vitaly, it's good to have you!

Scawen, since you are correcting hotlapping - may I ask what (if any) measures are being made to disallow the use of handbrake during hotlaps in GTR & single seater cars?

Fantastic update, LFS hotlapping has been crying out for such an update for years.

Having driven Rockingham at length in real life, Scawen & Eric, you need to both pat yourselves on the back - fantastic work!

BACK WITH A BANG!
26th June 2015.

Team Vires returned to Live For Speed to compete in a first endurance race since the 2014 GT World Series, to complete a 1-2 finish in the CityLiga 10 Hours of Westhill International.

The first car piloted by Morgan Trollé, James Peace, Adam Wisniewski and Matias Mäki-Hoimela, led all but the first 7 laps of the 10 hour event crossing the line a lap ahead of the sister car in 2nd place and 2 laps ahead of 4th position.

In the second car a mature race by Oliver Feistkorn, Niki Đaković and Corse Motorsport guest driver Vitalii Minnakhmetov saw the team dominate second position for much of the race, keeping the first team competitive for the first 5 hours.

Locking out the front row, finishing first and second and setting the fastest lap - We're pretty pleased with ourselves! Smile

Thank you to CityLiga for a flawless event and of course the LFS Development team for the new Westhill circuit and a reason to return to the sim.

Yes, the E-Brake. Was seeking clarification since I believe excessive use of it is banned in other leagues since it is not very realistic to handbrake turn in a GTR car.

But if it is not banned, then we shall edit our race setup around handbrake Smile
