After realising I hadn't fired up adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for over a year I decided to get back into it.

I also realised it had been over year since I even fired up LFS.
Im a bit rusty so here is my go at it since I stopped about 2 years ago.

Hope some of you can handle the pink. Tilt

Some trouble in bike land for me today. It's got this very apparent stutter when trying to accelerate hard in a higher gears like 4th and 5th
(5 speed). Whilst 1st 2nd and 3rd seem to be absolutely fine.

My friendly mechanic suggested I'd check the crabs for contaminants in the fuel like water or hard residue from the tank.

So I checked by emptying the float chambers on 2 of the carburettors. The one on the far left and the far right. The left hand one emptied quite fast, but appeared to have what looked like tiny water droplets in it. Whilst the one on the right dripped fuel at an almost asthmatic rate and quantity. It also looked like it had some hard black coal like residue in it. Perhaps some old solidified petrol that accumulated in that carb?

I recently performed a spark plug and air filter change. And it's been doing this since my last fill up. Could I have some form of petrol contamination going on? Or is my bike somehow running either supper rich or way to lean at full throttle?

Are there still things I could check with very limited tooling and experience?

I want to cycle on the hills in that 3rd picture.

Imagine how much it'd be to go down those hills.

Good choice?, how about the best choice!

Quote from Racer Y :Man. That sucks. Glad you came out OK.
You have my sympathies. I don't know what's worse about bike wrecks. The wreck itself or the @ssholes the day after telling us over and over how dangerous motorcycles are.

I had those kind of c*nts come along within the first day after crash.
A bunch of annoying, stupid inconsiderate twats that's what they are.

Its like making fun of someone for breaking his leg and then telling him what he did wrong. These kind of people are the worst kind of people.

Quote from Racer Y :
What are you going to do with the bike? Are you going to restore it to original?

The bike is a write off the frame is bent, and repairing such an old bike is not even worth it.
I'm saving up now to get something somewhat modern like a bike from 1998 to 2003 ish.

I find this current season to be mighty exciting In v8 supercars.

The opening race was great, so was the 2nd outing in Adelaide.
V8 supercars is one of my favoruite series at this moment, and the main reason I subscribed to motor TV.

Quote from Forbin :The internal armour or external knee puck?

The internal armour.

I have never worn leather pants with knee-sliders.

So this happened yesterday

De Lekdijk claimed yet another fallen rider
Sadly this time that rider was me.

I was accelerating out of this corner when my bike lowsided.
https://www.google.nl/maps/@51 ... 7Hz1U9_Pm9dY7bPia3iQw!2e0

My left knee hit one of those beige stones at of the road's edge.
The protector in my motorcycle trousers was literally shattered.
Lucky I'm alive and well, sort of. Considering me and the bike ended up in the high grass by the tree.

And with that I say long live proper gear!!

The end result.

I'm selling my GPX600.

I am just sick and tired of this piece of crap bike breaking down all the time.
The sad thing is that I will probably be out of the saddle for at least half a year.
But It will give me time to safe up for a proper bike that isn't crap. In other words a bike from the year 2000 and upwards.

Sad how private sellers lie about the state of a bike.

Quote from Forbin :I'm disappointed in the way they implement cam timing, lift, and valve spring rate all with just a simple 0-100 slider from street to race.

Why?, I like it. But I suppose that is because I am not that well informed when in comes to engineering?

Which is why I think automation is perfectly suited to people who love technique but struggle with maths, people like me really.
