Found some for south city, aston and westhill. Just not the right way around, well all you should need to do is change the camper&pressures.

All are basically made by me. Don't usually share my sets in any setupfields, but passionately making them.

These should help somewhat...

My kinda music this time. Fast paced start, not the slow build up like couple of movies before. Right smack into middle of action and then it calms down towards the end.

Entertaining like allways

Now back on track making more material....

Was a really fun race to drive that one. Might have been more boring in my original starting position, so kinda lucky i got spun in lap 1.

Good one Song suited well for an LFS movie. I think was the first german song for me that sounded good(Haven't listened to those so much). Some familiar replays there , couple of shots not even 1 week old.

Quote from Breizh :

In my experience the XRT and XRR in particular lend themselves to this pretty well. It's a very slight angle, very carefully modulated. I don't think you can really compare it to rallying slides.
The above video with Pearcy sliding around XFGs in his XRT is a special case: it's a low speed corner, his car is different from those he's passing, and on top of that there's no way to tell (unless you know that corner and the cars involved like the back of your hand) whether the XFGs were as fast as they could've been.
That angle of attack's more than the kind I described. Sorry I don't have any replays (nor any controller to go make some).

...snip...

The quickest answer to your questions is to go try it out yourself. The XRT with some good setups (keep in mind some WR setups are "special" though) is probably the best simplest test on street tires. The XRR is probably the best road car on race tires, and I don't know what to recommend for single seaters. And then there's new tire physics coming up, which pretty much everyone has agreed for a long time now that there's flaws in the tire model, IIRC including this slip behavior in particular.

Would like to point out that Pearcy was going sideways with an XRG not an XRT. So the training for entering corners sideways should be started with the XRG. It doesn't have too much power so the sideways going won't end up beeing just powersliding. As it might turn out to be with the older brothers of this car(XRT&XRR).

Good advices earlier. Downshifting earlier without throttle blip does indeed help getting the rear twitcy. Same goes with the quick movement in the middle of the braking. Then its just getting it right and not ending up in a huge slide. In that Pearcy clip, i think it seems he is getting it almost too sideways in the start of the turn. Might loose some speed there, if it were perfect you wouldn't need to correct at all just let the wheel be straight forward.

These said, in my case i think i know the theory how to do it, but its just damn hard to get it right. Sometimes get it quite ok, but just sometimes

Short recap

Quali: Went well. Pb once again, but not exactly in the same speed as Dave & Troy.

Sprint: Pretty much alone the whole race. In the start might have had a change to go for 2nd place. After Dave's spin noticed that I kinda had the pace to go almost as fast as the top guys. 2nd my best position so far in the series.

Feature: Started from the back and managed to come out 2nd after all the passes. Was kinda lucky in the start and stayd ahead Troy and managed to get pass Dave. Then when in 2nd place a really long defensive battle with Troy. I was slightly faster in some corners and he was faster in others. Well I think i had the edge in the corners where the overtaking opportunities were Atleast seemed to come out on top from those. Once Troy had gotten past, Dave had closed in. He managed to try and get past once, but was really comfortable in T1 so managed to stay ahead. He might have had some tire issues, so the gap started widening. Starting to look better pace wise. Just need some extra speed for the quali. 3rd in this race.

Best result so far in the series. Well might be that we had fever racers this time. Hopefully we will see more in the next races.

About the protest.

Well can't say i'm totally happy about the decision. Was hoping for some sort of warning from that. But after viewing your NDR sporting code in more detail, noticed no rule was broken. Can only blame myself as i'm usually following the Rules of Clean Racing. In my opinion in that overtake part O-2 & O-3 was clearly not followed. But as i said only can point at your rule book and I think you should add overtaking to your rules more clearly.

Lap + Timecode: 1 + 1:50
Cars Involved: 70 & 100
Description of events: 100 goes for a pass and doesn't leave any room in the exit of the corner forcing 70 out of track.

If i had continued my line we would both have ended in the grass and the result would have been ugly.

edit: Sprint race

Not much practice for this one. I like the track, just would have needed more testing with the racesetup.

Quali: Had big problems completing a lap in the first 10mins. I think messed up T1 atleast 3 times. Changed the set and the car wouldn't lock up that badly in it anymore. Improved my pb by only 0.01s. Could have been faster without small mistake in the last sector.

Sprint: Quality racing once again with Doughty. We changed places many times during the race, well due to both of us making some small mistakes on brakings and what not. But anyway nice fighting. Ended up my best finish so far in the series 3rd. Well still not happy about my driving though.

Wasn't at all satisfied with the set, car was really understeery in the early laps and the front tires heated up way too much. Some arb changes and slightly more pressure to the front for the longer one and hope for the best.

Feature: Actually could turn in corners and not heating the fronts that badly. Started once again couple of cars behind the front. Felt like i was almost in the same position as last race. After couple of laps the faster guys started gaining and had trouple keeping them behind. Didn't leave enough room for Troy in his passing attemt, so had to let him through in the next straight. We were going two wide after T1 and I took the right hand fast corner too tightly forcing him all the way to the grass, sorry about that. Then after some laps catched up to Doughty once again, he made a small mistake in the last corner and was about to lose control. I didn't leave enough room/lift off enough to be able to avoid him entirely. Just small tap in the front corner and the car changed direction drastically. Kept throttle full on in the grass and didn't lose that much time. Thought it was a racing incident and was hoping Doughty wouldn't let me pass. But he did so anyway, well hard one to judge during the race.

Once again the cat and mouse game for us began. Seemed that when one of us was in the lead the chasing car was doing better. Atleast it felt like that, dunno if it helped with the lines and braking points when chasing. We just couldn't seem to get rid of each other in the sprint and in the feature. Both capitalizing when the other one made a mistake. We catched up to Niall at some point, might have been 5-6 laps before the end. He must have spun or something and propably ruined his tires in doing so. So tried pushing even harder to get a passing opportunity and I did manage to try and pass in T1. Couldn't just make it stick. Dunno if it was on the same lap or some laps after when doughty managed to pass me atleast it was 3 laps before finish. Couldn't keep up anymore and ended up 6th.

In the end of the feature I started to struggle again with the braking for T1 similar to quali where i was locking the front and going wide. So slight set problems still even after the small corrections after sprint. Well pushing harder when chasing Niall and Doughty didn't help that at all .

Looking forward for the next races...

Again i had a great time in the race.

Quali: pb and ended up 7th just 0.1sec off and would have been 2 places higher though.

Sprint: Doughty pretty much summed it up allready. Great battles through out the race. Way too much watching the mirror though

Feature: Once more clean and good racing. Just couldn't stop the faster guys overtaking as in laps 8-12 was really strugling with my tires.

To sum it up racing was great, only dissapointed about my own pace. Felt like i had better pace during my couple practice runs and couldn't get the same speed out of myself as before. Could have been that tried pushing too hard and slightly ruined my tires more and that hurt my times in the early laps. Trying to get to top 5 seems to be the goal still. See you next race, oh and Doughty its supposed to be Virtanen .

Quali - New pb and ended up 6th, felt could have gone slightly faster. Didn't get a good lap done in the end anymore.

Sprint - Great start managed to get the inside lane to T2 and got almost couple of spots higher. After few corners was 5th ahead Nial and behind Dave. Couple of laps tight defending and trying to cathup to the guys ahead. Then it started happening Dave got into passing F.Enersen and when the door opened i managed to sqeeze my car through there too. At the same time though Nial took advantage of this battling and managed to outbrake me to the T3. So remained 5th . Some sliding and messed up the rear tire well managed to cool it down and was just quick enough to keep the rest behind. 5th definedly not bad.

Feature - Starting 3rd, hectic couple of corners some small touches in T3 with nial. Ended me in the wall lost some places. Then the faster guys just kept coming past, first Rudy at the hairpin, well at this battle F.Enersen had gotten close enough and managed to use the same opening to get side by side. Small touch in the long right hander and we both end in the wall pretty hard. Again losing some places. Quite a lot of damage, but we both managed to keep pretty good pace for the rest of the race. More warming of the tires then it should have. Some point Troy appeared in the mirrors and kept him behind for couple of laps and then nice tight fight for the position. Good and clean like allways. Was 8th after Troy passed. Tried catching up to F.Enersen and he did a mistake wich ruined his car totally and got past him. Then Niki started gaining on me so had to hotlap almost the rest of the race to keep him far enough. Sweaty and fun race 7th.

Need to find some sort of boost to get those couple of extra tenths(seconds) to keep up with the podium guys. Well lets see in the next races

First timer on MOE here, Hi!
Had really a good time enjoyed myself. For me the first 2hours went by nicely. All the GT2 cars handled the blue flags nicely on such narrow circuit. Couple of mistakes during the race, missed the start lost couple of places. Not so familiar with rolling starts. Then one big miss that i hope wasn't shot so well in the stream . Really huge rookie miss, hit the wall on pitexit, dammit. Want to say sorry for our team about that. Think might have costed 2-3places for us. Well anyway looking forward to the rest of the season if the dates suit and not too hangover to attend.
