The online racing simulator
@3rdGear, are you on Windows 7 ?
The new update doesn't seem to work well with hotlapping as it only starts the prediction from the second flying lap Frown
Hello,
Host checked, link ok now.

1.2.1.1 - 20221008
[New] Wait for LFS.exe instead of crashing (be careful, D&M remains invisible while waiting, I'll see later to make it better)
[Improved] Fuel OK for all types of vehicles
[Fix] Some widgets update not applied (Track / Car, Fuel, Ahead, Behind, etc.)

@3rdGear, I'm looking for workarounds but as mentioned in the 1st post, Windows 7 is not supported.
@johneysvk, I think it never worked!? (insim obviously doesn't provide any start info for the 1st hotlap lap! (Not cool and complicated but I'll see what I can do)
i'm fairly sure it used to work from first split onwards at least.

anyway, thank you for the continued development, it's a cool app.
I think it does work from second lap all the time
Hi all,

Here is a new version with (I think/hope) some new interesting features.

Same Link as before (2nd post)
You can overwrite only the exe if you already have the application

1.2.2.0 - 20221015
[Fix] Error moving widgets with keyboard arrows
[Fix] Some predict/potential best issues
[Improved] Predict available from the 1st lap
[New] Debug mode on the interface (not activated by default)
[New] "Low perf" mode (for really old computer !?)
[New] Possibility to move widgets with the mouse ('XX' then right click)
[New] PB ghost on "radar" mode

About the 2 main new features :
- PB ghost
Just click on "PB Ghost" on the interface. A blue circle symbol on the radar represents your location during your PB (need to make a PB with this new version. The old PB are still compatible for the Predict / Potential best but don't contain the info needed for the ghost)
- Moving widgets with the mouse
1- switch to "edit mode" (red button)
2- select the widget to move (becomes "XX")
3- move the widget by holding down the right mouse button
4- release it at the desired place
5- quit edit mode / save the layout (current car or all)

Have fun...
Small quick fix thanks to loopingz :

1.2.2.1 - 20221016
[Fix] Old predict incorrectly loaded

(zip updated in the usual link)
Thank you for the updates! Big grin
Does Monitor works with driver change situation, cause yesterday I tried to swap with my teammate and takeover the car but after nothing appear on the screen
hello Ayoub2016,
I won't be surprised if it doesn't work because I've never done it. I will have a look how it works in insim and try to implement it (although not easy to test I guess)

Hello,
@justadroover, I found some information about this error but it would be easier with some additional information (Windows version at least).
@timdecnodder, the error is not normal (no error is normal), but I can strongly assume that it is because you are not using the latest version 0.7D of LFS.
using LFS 0.7D version, don't know what could cause the issue.
@KingOfIce
Win7 64, python 3.7 installed, can run python command from cmd, so everything fine with env variables. strange it got to look for python inside temp folder.
Also at first it asked for api-ms-win-core-path-l1-1-0.dll, so i found it and put in windows\System32 folder.
Glad you are willing to help. I want time difference so bad, and your counterpant LfsLazy shows it only after sector 1, which is lame.
As mentioned on other posts, D&M is unfortunately not compatible with Windows 7.
(I had already looked into it but will check again if something is possible for python 3.10 / windows 7...)
Hi all,

Here is a new small update.

1.2.2.2 - 20221109
[Fix] Car not deleted on radar when out of radar range

Same Link as before (2nd post)
You can overwrite only the exe if you already have the application
Traceback (most recent call last):

File "Detect&Monitor6.py", line 2273, in LoadConfigFile
TypeError: list indices must be integers or slices, not str

Also get this error on windows 10 pro V21H2, LFS 0.7D and python 3.11.0 installed if that makes a difference. Thank you nontheless for developing this useful app!
it seems to be something wrong in your config file.
(no problem about python 3.11, the version needed by Detect&Monitor is embebded in the exe file).
Did it work with the previous version ? Did you not overwrite your config file ?
