Race statistics / Event rating and other statistics (will be updated later this week)
This week we had one of the very rare actual real life combos - the Formula BMW was raced in Rockingham circuit, allthough it will be closed soon if already hasn't. Still - this was the chance to enjoy a bit more realistic racing and a total of 17 drivers used it. It was the 10th RTFR event in row with attendance higher than all time average.
The 4-time winner Litti (while using a VR device?) started the race from 3rd grid position and after 1st chicane used the fight between both front row starters for his advantage and outbraked both in the 1st actual turn - he never gave up the lead for remaining 76 kilometers of race distance and joined a bit more exclusive 5-time winners club. While running away from competition,he also set the fastest lap of the race - his 7th,while he also finished in top5 for the 7th time. Botsi was the 2nd fastest in qualifying and kept this position also after early position switchings, but his chase for lead never succeded - 2nd place finish, which is 38th top5 entry for him. Maddee set the fastest lap in qualifying and scored his 2nd pole position, unlike last time he did that, this time he tried to convert in into win - he started an RTFR race for 2nd time and completed one for the first time with 3rd place finish. Ironically the driver who broke finnish winning streak was the fastest non-finnish driver also yesterday - R.Kardol was best of the rest and finished 4th,scoring his 21st top5 finish, while first time participant GT4tube closed the top5.
Next week it will be time for the longer RTFR version XL,where the fastest car of LFS will make it's debuth in the event - BF1 will be raced in Kyoto National course, used in reversed direction, full details tomorrow in the according thread. A week after that again the normal RTFR will return with one of the street legal cars for racing, info about that as always in the weekend before that.
