Description of incident: Approaching and turning to last corner of the track. Was already turning half way towards the apex of the turn when longi crashes on my side with very high speed causing my car flipping and basically race over. A classical so called turn kill.

Longi slips in previous turn, gets car under control, but brakes way too late for last turn of the lap, causing contact with J.A.Katila's car, which gets flipped. Obvious driver mistake, which should not happen, therefore:

-longi- - receives a 30 seconds penalty added to his finish time for avoidable incident. Similar incidents in future will lead to bigger penalties.

The fastest LFS's FWD car was on the menu for this race, equipped with slicks and racing suspension together with low curb weight this car has it's specific handling, some like it,some hate it,but everyone will agree that you have to master it to be fast.

After 2 races departure,Botsi returned and won yet another race - 6th in row from the ones he has participated in. This time he wasn't unchallenged,as his compatriot found a way past him exiting turn one and Botsi had to search for good options to regain lead, which he did in lap 6. After that he pulled away from the rest, crossed the finish line 1st for the 12th time in RTFR,he scored also his 11th pole position,10th fastest lap and 24th top5 finish. M.Wentjärvi was the one who challenged the leader, but led only 5 laps, after them it was just a chase for runaway train - 6th top5 finish for the 3-time winner. Another previous winner finished 3rd - J.Pickard was the only non-finn in top5,9th top5 finish for the driver, who started from 11th position,Unite won the late battle and finished 4th,which his best finish - previous best was 10th,Rejekt had to concede in this battle, but still brought home 2nd top5 finish with the 5th place.

RTFR now goes into it's 2 weeks break, next race scheduled for 9th october, planned to use street legal cars, but this sunday V8 Racing League resumes the action with 2nd round run at the classic Blackwood GP track. More info and signups in VERL thread.

It looks I had better tyres than most of the drivers.
Maybe it's traction control. Maybe it's Maybelline

Seeing a big update incoming in nearer future, there are some concerns that it might have an effect on layouts requiring smaller or bigger update,so this was a chance to use one layout while it's still as it was when it was built. No surprise about low attendance though - might be the track, might be the car or even the combo of the two,non the less, there still were hot battles in this race.

A.Wiśniewski took alsmost a clean sweep from this one - he was the only one to beat 38 seconds mark in qualifying, pulled away from the followers right after green lights and crossed the finish line with half lap gap to closest competition. A.Wiśniewski scored his 11th win (still 4th most),9th pole position (tied 4th most) and 15th top5 finish. Best of the rest was J.A.Katila - 2nd place is his best ever finish in RTFR,also 15 top5 finishes for him now. 3rd was Maciek, who posted video about his best finish in RTFR in post above,2nd visit in top5 for him,4th was Rony, collecting his 75th top5 finish and top5 was closed by Snoopy, who scored his 6th top5 finish. And there was another driver, who put something in his record books - race went south early for Arska,so he decided to pit for fresh tyres multiple times to hotlap, which ended with him scoring his 2nd fastest lap of the race.

Next week it's time for the longer RTFR version, which will feature it's first oval race - XFG will be run in the Kyoto Oval. 2 weeks after this normal RTFR will return with race using some of the slick tyre racing machines. But this week RGE offered action is not over - V8 Racing League has it's 3rd round this sunday,Rockingham's infield configuration will an interesting challenge to the league racers, everyone still can join the action - more info in VERL2018 thread or via lfs.net calender.

PS. Sir Milan - only if I need to fix some small mistake and lady has that confusing update button... Confused

2nd race in row in custom layout turned out to be another dominating run by someone and not that popular. Still there were some battles and position changes through out the race, most had some challenge for sure.

Dzidoris set the fastest time in pre-event practice, kept being fastest in qualifying and led every single meter of the race - this performance yesterday earned him 2nd win,2nd pole position,3rd fastest lap and 9th top5 finish, with his fastest lap Lithuania now reaches a 10 in this column. J.A.Katila was best of the rest for the 2nd race in row, this time not without a fight,16th top5 finish earned. Unite finished 3rd,which is his best finish in RTFR,2nd top5 effort for him,Snoopy was the tale end of this group with his 4th position in finish,6th top5 for him. Pretty much alone around and last on lead lap was Rony with 5th place finish, collecting up 76th top5 finish.

Race Green Events now takes almost 2 weeks long break, next event on the list is 189th RTFR in 6th november, which will be run with some of the street cars,in sunday before that the 4th round of VERL at South City.

Last time FXO was run in Aston,it was a duel - a duel between 2 drivers, noone else attended an that event went in history with lowest attendance. Yesterday there was also a duel for win and plenty of racing for many positions down the order too - no entries in record books, just in memories of many drivers for intense racing.

In prerace practice Fast held the fastest laptime and improved it slightly in qualifying, earning his 4th pole position, but he had close competition in form of Botsi. And the competition in race continued - Fast and Botsi swapped the positions in race many more times than the official 5 lead changes in stats, but in the late phase of race Fast finally was able to hold on leading position and in final 2 laps even pull a 4 seconds gap, earning also his 3rd win,5th fastest lap of the race and 6th top5 finish. Botsi had won 6 races in row he attended here, yesterday this streak came to and despite hard tries, still 25th top5 finish from 25th overall finish. 3rd was first time participant Getrag, followed by Spiky in 4th position, collecting his 4th top5 finish. J.A.Katila closed up top5 with his 17th entry in it.

Next week it's time for the extended version of RTFR,featuring UFR at South City Town Course in reversed direction, also next week we offer racing in V8 Racing League, which will be the final round at Westhill. And 2 days after that the normal RTFR will return with race car racing, more details about that in the weekend before it.

FXO was used for 2nd race in row in RTFR - but this time we used the GTR version of it. And that in the shortest possible non-oval configuration of Kyoto - it deffinitelly had a touring car feel.

Setting the fastest lap in pre-race practice is not enough - L.Kovács was not able to repeat that performance in qualifying, but 2nd lace on grid was still good enough to make an outside pass for lead in 1st turn,L.Kovács never lost the lead and celebrated his 5th race win - he is the 14th driver with 5 or more race wins in RTFR,he also collected his 7th fastest lap of the race and 7th top5 finish. 2nd place from pole position must be like a deja-vu from sunday - Altsu repeated this also here, finishing again 4 seconds behind winner - still he added up 12th top5 finish besides his 6th pole position. Fast wasn't fast enough to score 2 wins in row,he had to settle for 3rd place finish yesterday,7 top5 finishes in his account, his compatriot Sobis joined RTFR after longer break and not only started the race for the first time (he just qualified twice before),he also finished it and that in 4th position. J.A.Katila started 3rd,but had to concede to 2 lithuanians, still earned 4th top5 finish in row,18th overall.

Already next week the postponed RTFR XL will take place in South City's Town Course reversed using UFR,normal RTFR will return after usual 2 weeks break with some of the street cars.
